Hey. I updated from v1 to v2.0.0.1 (Windows) today and followed the steps on deleting all files besides wallet.dat. Currently i have "No block source available" and my coins have moved from confirmed to unconfirmed.  Any suggestions ? You may have to add your nodes manually. Go to Help > Debug Console > Console. Type the below commands. addnode 5.9.72.56 add addnode 80.112.144.84 add This should grab the correct nodes to get you the blockchain. Let me know if this fixes the issue. This was one issue affecting some people on wallet 2.0.0.1 and will not happen on 3.0 when it releases. Thank you. This worked; Status: "Synchronizing with network" (10 weeks behind) Will post back when completed Dude, Since i updated and followed your addnode guide, my Internet has been extremely slow with extensive ping delays and browsing experience to the point where i lodged a complaint with my ISP and Phone Line provided about 6 hours ago which both returned full line speed and no line noise. Even my modem has full line sync.... Totally Confused as everything adds up to a stable connection, so after loosing my shit over the past 7 days as i work a lot via RDP its been ridiculous. I had a random thought and closed flappybird qt 2.0.0.1 and my ping delays and browsing has gone back to normal . =/ I updated to 3.0 just then, Um is there some sort of backhole or network leak in 2.0.0.1 because wow that's a major issue. Extremely concerned. I will be keeping an eye out on my Internet experience with 3.0 |

No. Using powered riser's like the ribbon riser type and dual PSU will cause a short, as the 2 currents meet when they shouldn't . you will need the USB looking PCIe risers which work correctly with dual PSU as they are hardwired to accept power only from the molex and not draw from the board. Or ribbon risers with capacitor which draws power ONLY from the molex. Again its the power from 2 separate currents meeting at the board. I have 6 x R9 280X with the USB looking powered risers . Seasonic 1250W powering 4 cards and PC .. Corsair 750W power 2 cards Each PSU powers its own molex on the risers and the corsair is locked in ON mode, via bridged the green and black wire on the 24pin molex.  Again: using ribbon risers with molex cause a shutdown on the system, its been explained before about the 2 PSU current's mixing when they shouldnt. you could blow the board and cards, if this is your problem. PS: If you're only running 3 cards just upgrade to a good single PSU a seasonic 1250W can handle 4 cards and the components of the PC with no issues. and you could under clock to save on W usage if your worried about that. |

Probably , ....sucks , probably. But with the recent wave of newbies claimed to have been robbed just to get some sympathy and free doge .. I find it harder and harder to believe those stories. Im not a newbie i have dedicated money into my setup and have been mining since late 2013, its annoying to think you would believe im lying when i have lost a full days worth of coins, i do pay a fucken power bill. i am not happy is there any explanation for this how can this happen ? If you're using windows , lots of explanations. How about you give some info what wallet/sys you're using? Windows 8.1 I just upgraded to Doge QT 1.5 last night after the block reindex i sent my wallet from my pool all coins for that day. around 1am then instead of waiting for it to confirm i went to sleep. Woke up early like 3 hrs ago and only turned my pc on now. Open doge QT and it says 0.0 balance but the strange part is, it looks to have been sent from my wallet while my PC was off . =/ How. I've lost almost 40,000 worth of coins. -OK so if i add encryption it should be ok ? Encryption is a must. Also you'll need a full system scan before using you're computer again. Also all your addresses are compromised so forget about them. And , if you can't switch from windows , and you don't have another computer , think about getting a wmware wks only for this purpose. Fk. If the thief got access to your address , he will have access to it forever. You can't change the private key for it , you can't protect that address anymore no matter what you try. About getting the coins back.... they are gone. 0.000001% chance the thief might get drunk or have a guilty conscience trance and send them back. So, i completed a few scans and it looks clean, no key loggers nothing, cgminer came up but thats known.. It looks like my dropbox idea wasn't the greatest. Basically after this next scan is done, i should add encryption (done) and make a new address, update my pools and i should be ok ? Correct |

Oh boy.... You think that dropbox is secure? And nobody is able to take a look in it? My wallets are in my dropbox too but in an AES-Container sich a strong password. Ok so i have a problem. Whats my final solution to fix all of this. step by step lol |

I too got out of there. I'm low end miner and having to pay 100 for cashout is too much for me. And autocashout minimum was raised from 10k to 50k, no way I can make that much with mobile Nvidia card. Im using fastpool now.
What pool would you's suggest then ? |
