The best way would be splitting your invesment in multiple altcoins, it is same as not putting all of your eggs in one basket, there are other coins like Ripple, Litecoin, EOS and TRON. A investment in only single altcoin is a huge risk factor if you lose it all.

If you are doing daily trade go with ripple, and if holding for long term Litecoin would give you good returns.

 yes, holding EOS seems to be good choice, given the model of the blockchain, it looks like it has some interesting enhancements over Ethereum.
