How would you stop anyone from USA to participate?
I am guessing through KYC. Would you be checking those 20000 registration cause it seems like a tall order.

Still this is about $14 by current rates. So worth it.
2  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Switch to Proof Of Stake? on: September 24, 2018, 07:34:59 AM
Dev are not able to agree upon how big a block size there should be. It is highly improbable if not impossible for them to agree for this.

I agree with you though POS is better than POW any give day.
3  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [DEMO]Regulatory Compliant Exchange with Fiat pairs on: September 20, 2018, 11:40:13 AM
Well here is the thing. For me EMI license that brings in ability to get iBan accounts is equally awesome if not more as compliance.

Because as a user I would get to trade quite easy now. This is like your bank now giving you an exchange build in.

[li]Not sure what you mean here[/li][/list]

Apologies, My English failed me.  Undecided

I was under assumption that you would have multiple projects to work on. Which I see now that you have agreed. So as A bounty hunter, would be stuck on only one assigned project or can I choose for myself. And cannot change that project in future if I see returns are not good.

Never had a problem with the exchange. Always have a problem with gov regulations, and I dont see how this would be sorted out soon.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the Best Coins to Buy? on: September 19, 2018, 07:32:49 AM
good coins to buy are BTC coins, too many BTC coins drop, if investing in BTC coins will definitely experience a lot of profits, until now I will continue to invest in BTC coins

Cannot disagree more. BTC is old, sure it is has the most market cap. But Its not a good investment in any case.

9  Local / India / Re: Is this the END of bitcoin and crypto in India? on: September 13, 2018, 08:18:48 AM
Although that's the thing with crypto. Gov can block exchanges from dealing with Crypto. They just cannot block crypto itself. So be happy, its all going to survive.

I need more info on how things would be distributed. Where can get info?

Hey S00rabh - Thanks for the question - could you elaborate a little on what you mean?

  • How often do you think you would have project to work on?
  • Would the share percentage as per the project or will it remain the same through the contract
  • Can I check my Bounty Hunter profile in future? Like from one domain to other
  • Would there be any penalty for not being able to complete the bounty?

* Transform these legacy digital assets into token on a public blockchain that benifits both consumers and the enterprise-issues of these digital assets.

I need more information on this. The way any company or business provide loyality points is on assumption that these points would never be used. So someone would think that these points on blockchain would not help the cause.

But there is more.

I as a small business can provide these loyality points to my customer which I believe could be used somewhere else. So even though my customers are not going to use these points with my business they will still have a chance to use these else where.

I say that is a Win Win for both.

Point Case: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoover_free_flights_promotion

This time, all 3 parties win, except don't be that stupid when doing the promotion. Wink

Its on Maintenance again?

This is like the second time within this month. I know upgrade could be a mess but come on. Get this going already.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Market Analysis on: September 06, 2018, 09:19:46 AM
I agree to an extend. I have seen same pattern in last two halving. There was a steep price rise and then a fall right after halving. So I am expecting real rise to be around 2020 halving.
15  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Mining reward "stealing" attack on: September 06, 2018, 06:52:29 AM
Instead of investing so much in Hash power, just quarter of that $$$ to buy actual BTC and then you can control the market in much better way.
16  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How many coins does Satoshi Hold? on: September 06, 2018, 06:17:46 AM
Its Zero unless those coins comes out. Although actual figure is somewhere around a million.

Perhaps you need to visit back alleys of Karol Bagh.  Cool
18  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Block Size Scalability Issues on: September 04, 2018, 06:43:31 AM

You won't get able any answer if you show pessimism/negative views towards Bitcoin on r/bitcoin. You better ask this forum or

Actually I did get an answer but not a proper one. Dont know if it was an admin but whoever it was said he will get back to me and never did. Then again its not a customer service but thats ok.

Still to point out, How does it matter if I was showing negative view?
Is current structure so weak that it wont stand any criticism?

It's hard to avoid centralized centered LN nodes since merchants or nodes with high liquidity/balance naturally would have high connected channel since people would open new channel (merchant) if there aren't any available path/route and there's fewer available path/route (merchants & nodes with high liquidity/balance) if you intend to use LN for bigger payment.

This thread Basics of the Lightning Network - explanation and wallets should give you more information.

I know, that's my concern. I dont have anything better to offer but I can point out what I see as an upcoming problem.

It's not really a solution. They postpone the problem.
Increasing a variable (blocksize) can never be a scaling solution.

A lot of new problems appear with a bigger blocksize which shouldn't be ignored.

What kind of problem are you referring to. I would like to read something on it.
19  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Block Size Scalability Issues on: September 04, 2018, 06:32:32 AM

That would be fine too. This wouldn't cause a problem at all.
Those hubs don't have any influence or 'power'. If you don't want to connect to them (e.g. because big hubs or fees), don't do it.

People can choose who they connect to.

Yea, I dont think that would be fine. People can connect to what ever they want until they have options to connect. When they dont have they would have to connect to these centralized points/

Agreed, its not a solution but better then 1Mb block. Minor update to 2Mb or 4Mb would have solved lot of pressure when backlogs were high.

Good that I found this thread. I have been asking this question on r/bitcoin with no real answer. How is that LN will not cause centralization.

As I understand(Please correct if I am wrong) inorder for me to send BTC from A to B, I need to open the channel. So as a user I would have to do the same thing again If I have to send BTC from A to C (Unless B already has an open channel with C).

I think in long run we will see centralized points which have multiple open channel that users would connect to.

I know people dont like it but BCH atleast has a solution or even variable/flexible blocksize would solve in much better case.
