I don't like it. I think a code-enforced interest rate is a different and equal answer to the government-controlled money printing problem that Bitcoin chose. Bitcoin chose code-enforced 0% inflation, and Ethereum has code-enforced 2% inflation. These are both viable solutions that produce different outcomes. Bitcoin is being Digital gold, belongs with 0%, but that doesn't mean that 0% is the only answer.
