1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: zeuscontroller root password ? on: August 22, 2014, 04:00:07 PM
I use StarMiner and it works great!

What's up with BBQCoin? I often see my worker there (on AUTO) but we never find a block. Last block found 26 days ago. Is that right?

It's definitely not right

My miner always gets stuck when it hits this BBQcoin

Admin: please fix it or remove BBQcoin from the auto-switch pool now

Apparently Niceman has lost his motivation again. Just turn it off yourself in the settings.

I ended up just turning off every coin that I have a zero balance in. That way I know at least the coins I'm mining are finding blocks.

4  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners (Scrypt ASIC seller) independent feedback thread on: June 23, 2014, 02:29:56 PM
I paid $129 with a zen controller, now they are cheaper but no zen controller.

Did you actually get the ZenController? I ordered two Week Three Furys with ZenControllers and have yet to receive the ZenControllers. I asked GAW and they said there was no ZenController included. I provided proof that my order included them and then they said "things have changed." WTF?

Hi, if it shows the ZenController in your receipt you should have gotten one. Please PM with your order number and I will make sure one gets out to you right away Smiley

PMed. Thank you.

So just to compare, I'm mining X11 coins with auto trade and am getting about .01 a day. I have a 6 GPU rig hashing at about 20 m/h give or take.

Does that sound right to everyone here?

Sounds right. I'm getting .013 BTC/day for 24mhs. And one of my rigs is with 3x750Tis is unstable.
7  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How to monitor room temperature remotely? on: June 19, 2014, 08:04:53 PM
I actually have a USB webcam pointed at my mining shelf, which has a thermometer in its view, which is not the easiest way to achieve what you wanted to, but has the added benefit of being able to remotely view your setup (if you're as paranoid as I am).

I am actually considering this too.

Do notifications for idle workers work for anyone? Or is it just broken for me?
9  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How to monitor room temperature remotely? on: June 17, 2014, 05:08:53 PM
You want to control an AC based on the temperature in the room... that's called a thermostat Smiley  Most ACs have them built in.

I actually couldn't find a portable AC that turns off completely based on temperature, the fan stays running. I'll be using a Wemo to control it based on time/outside temp at least. But additionally I'd like to monitor the room temp remotely.

mytaglist looks really cool and easy! Thanks!

To the posts above, I'll be running a RPi and 2 Zeus Cyclones.

Thanks for the suggestions! RPi seems like the way to go. I think I'll try this out: http://www.projects.privateeyepi.com/home/temperature-gauge
12  Bitcoin / Mining / How to monitor room temperature remotely? on: June 17, 2014, 03:15:29 PM
I'm going to be moving some of my miners to a small room at my parent's house. I want to be able to monitor the room temperature remotely. Anyone have any ideas on the best way to do this?

I'd also like to be able to remotely/automatically turn a portable air conditioner on/off based on the room temperature. I'll be using Wemo Insights on the miners to power cycle them remotely when needed.

I switched to coinking for 24 hours and my payouts were terrible. I just switched back to TMB.

Very slick looking site! I'll switch over tonight and try it out for a few days.

What is "p c 0"?

In the mining display window, press p, then c, then 0. That is to disable the pool 0 by changing to fail-only mode instead of load balance, which is the donation pool.

Ah, thank you!

Hi
Omfg I love this program, exactly what I needed  Wink
Could you please add 1 feature though?
I mine with 4 cards on 1 rig, I own 3 of them, my dad owns 1 is there a way that you can make it so that you can get multiple profiles to run at once instead of juan?
Thanks again!

Another way to do this is to set the scheduler to switch profiles for a % of the day to mine for your dad.

tldr We should reject "1-stale" shares for better profitability, but some users will be all "WTF MY REJECTS ARE HIGHER NOW!!!?!".  Should we reject "1-stale" shares Yes/No?

Don't get new Sapphire Dual-X or Vapor-X 280x's! They have a new BIOS (015.041) that throttles at 73 C. I have 6 and can barely break 700 kh/s on each.
