yeah, just asking if anything changed. I see new coins using sha256, but that's all I found.

Hello,
I stopped mining a few years back but have just gotten back into it again.
I have 5 redfury usb miners, which are mining about 11-12 Ghs on sha256
Since I have been out of the loop, I'm curious if there are any other algo's that these things can use?
My old GTX 760 is getting over 10x the btc alone using crytonight than these 5 usb's can pull in. seems off.

Yeah, I guess we had not foreseen the dominance of scrypt ASICs, the loss of value of scrypt-coins, dogecoin's block reward halvings, and BTC's huge difficulty increases.
Still, it's not so bad considering there is yet many months of payments to come. And kudos to Cooldgamer for handling this like a boss!

just added up what I spent vs payout, and I only got 57% of what I put in, which is a large loss. Did everyone else see this also? I'm just curious. also two of the payments was unconfirmed  |

the site stole me coins well before any of this stuff ever happened.
I cashed out about a month and a half ago and never got the btc, and the makebtc account was 0.

I was recently laid off from work; the company shut it's doors.
Because of this I have a lot of time available right now, so I'd like to BUMP this post.
Also, I have more direct BitCoin experience than I did when I first posted this, including integrating BitPay and BlockChain.info into a shopping cart.

So this coin is officially dead now? Even if it's on an exchange like https://www.swisscex.com/, it really doesn't matter. It's too small and people won't register there just to trade CENT. Should the price ever rise just a bit there, there will be loads of people dumping. I tried signing up there, and also on bter.com, however in both cases the creation of a CENT wallet was 'unavailable'. Gone from cryptsy, broken on all other exchanges, and holding 300m of them... what to do, what to do. |
