1  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: can redfury asic do anything other than sha256? on: January 11, 2018, 04:35:03 AM
yeah, just asking if anything changed. I see new coins using sha256, but that's all I found.
2  Bitcoin / Mining support / can redfury asic do anything other than sha256? on: January 11, 2018, 03:04:23 AM
Hello,

I stopped mining a few years back but have just gotten back into it again.

I have 5 redfury usb miners, which are mining about 11-12 Ghs on sha256

Since I have been out of the loop, I'm curious if there are any other algo's that these things can use?

My old GTX 760 is getting over 10x the btc alone using crytonight than these 5 usb's can pull in. seems off.

6  Economy / Securities / Re: [Pon3 Mining] Scrypt/BTC Hybrid Year Long Mining Operation IPO on: June 05, 2014, 05:35:25 AM
That's quite weird, mine were all confirmed :S
Are you using a reputable wallet?

MultiBit

I guess I could try deleting the data and re-download things.

ok today's confirmed Cheesy
7  Economy / Securities / Re: [Pon3 Mining] Scrypt/BTC Hybrid Year Long Mining Operation IPO on: June 05, 2014, 05:00:56 AM

Yeah, I guess we had not foreseen the dominance of scrypt ASICs, the loss of value of scrypt-coins, dogecoin's block reward halvings, and BTC's huge difficulty increases.

Still, it's not so bad considering there is yet many months of payments to come. And kudos to Cooldgamer for handling this like a boss!

(Don't worry about the unconfirmed payment, it will pass through in a short while)

Oh thank you for that reply! I actually didn't realize there were still many payments to come, it sounded like things were done here. I guess I was confused.

Yes, kudos to Cooldgamer for sure!!

Also, the unconfirmed payments have been there for a while. there's one from the 11th, and one from just a few hours ago.

thanks again

just added up what I spent vs payout, and I only got 57% of what I put in, which is a large loss.

Did everyone else see this also? I'm just curious.

also two of the payments was unconfirmed Sad
9  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: MakeBTC.org Pyramid Scheme on: March 21, 2014, 07:41:58 AM
the site stole me coins well before any of this stuff ever happened.

I cashed out about a month and a half ago and never got the btc, and the makebtc account was 0.

$30?  Yeah, no thanks.  You may have better luck on a freelance forum - the folks on those places work for peanuts.

second that. $30 isn't even worth the effort of going over the project, let alone the project itself. It's actually quite insulting.

A lot of people were requesting CAGE/LTC last week because of the low price with the BTC pairing, so we have delivered today! We've added a CAGE/LTC pairing, happy trading Smiley

...which killed the CAGE/BTC market Sad

15  Economy / Services / Re: Front end dev work? HTML5, web, games, e-commerce, etc on: March 01, 2014, 09:15:34 PM
I was recently laid off from work; the company shut it's doors.

Because of this I have a lot of time available right now, so I'd like to BUMP this post.

Also, I have more direct BitCoin experience than I did when I first posted this, including integrating BitPay and BlockChain.info into a shopping cart.

Thanks!
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CENT] Pennies launched on: February 26, 2014, 10:01:32 PM

done, thanks! BTW - I am really enjoying mintpal!
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CENT] Pennies launched on: February 26, 2014, 08:24:49 AM
So this coin is officially dead now? Even if it's on an exchange like https://www.swisscex.com/, it really doesn't matter. It's too small and people won't register there just to trade CENT. Should the price ever rise just a bit there, there will be loads of people dumping.

I tried signing up there, and also on bter.com, however in both cases the creation of a CENT wallet was 'unavailable'.

Gone from cryptsy, broken on all other exchanges, and holding 300m of them... what to do, what to do.

Will it go up?

Can it go down , especially from here?

Well that'd be a no, but that doesn't mean anyone will buy it either Wink I picked up a bunch though.
