This STTR bounty is for the pre-sale only.

The pre-sale bounty program has already commenced and will run until the end of the pre-sale which will conclude on the 30th Apr 2018 UTC 23:59.





General rules

All bounty participants must join STTR community's official Telegram group.

Who can participate in ICO and pre-sale? The STTR Project has no geographical restrictions. Thus, an investor in any country and jurisdiction can participate in the crowdfunding and initial pre-sale.
KYC: Not required

• Do not send ETH directly from an exchange. Use your own wallet for which you have a private key.
• Your STTR tokens will be credited directly to your ETH address. Any type of transfer will be disabled until the end of the main ICO.

What problem does this solve? It was previously not possible to hire or get paid on a time-basis using cryptocurrency as the payment method. While milestone-based payments are commonplace, there were no time-based solutions that track activity and gradually make payouts. With our open-source app we want to solve this problem and help both employers and freelancers to save time and make/receive payments directly in any cryptocurrency in automated, secure and trustless way.

But why? The quote from @aantonop answers this question best:

This is why we decided to build an app that facilitates such value exchange based on the universal constant - time:  

• There’s no middleman anymore. Smart Contract Time Tracker is simply a medium through which the transference of value is made. It’s open-source and resides on public Ethereum blockchain.
   
• It ensures the work is performed and paid. The contract acts as temporary escrow ensuring the money is deposited and will be transferred after each interval has been completed. It takes random screenshots of active windows and records keyboard strokes, mouse activity, and sound input/output, or connects to other i/o devices. This data is then sent to the Payee for reference. Appeals or disputes cannot be created within the app - each party should seek resolution directly with the other if they are unsatisfied with any aspect of the contract.
   
• It can track any activity. As long as Time Tracker is active, it can listen to any device or interface and record activity. Payments are not dependent on these activities, but rather on the tracking function having been enabled. The Payer has the ability to pause the contract if no activity has occurred on a specific device during a given period of time.
   
• It’s private. Data tracked from sensors is client-side encrypted, uploaded to the servers and can only be read by the contract participants using the private key issued by the contract. All data is purged from the server after 7 days and cannot be restored. This data storage feature is optional. Total privacy can be achieved with disabled snapshot functions. The contract owner can establish these capabilities as optional or obligatory for each contract.
   
• It’s encrypted and secure. Each project is cryptographically encrypted and assigned to a pair of ETH/BTC addresses upon generation. Only the contract parties can enable/disable/void the contract. Unused or expired projects are automatically terminated and deleted from the network to prevent bloating.
   
• It’s failsafe. The contract will not permit time tracking to be initialized if at least one time interval has not yet been funded (intervals can be chosen in settings). If no further funds are available during the work, the app will notify the user and pause the tracking. During periods of extreme congestion, the contract can adjust transaction fees and payout intervals to guarantee the fastest transfer of value. Users are notified before initializing the tracker. Rollout of the Raiden and Lightning networks makes congestion extremely unlikely.
   
• A built-in "kill switch" function allows the project owner to withdraw all funds and terminate the project. It can be triggered by sending a small fraction of tokens/eth directly to contract address from owner’s private address.
   
• Its native STTR Token is used to fund and facilitate project development, as well as for paying internal transaction fees (project creation, payment channel opening, etc.).
   
• No hidden fees or commissions. Smart Contract is transacting in ETH/BTC/ERC20 and is open-source. Network transaction fees are dynamically adjusted based on network congestion and from within the app.
   
• Time intervals can range from one second to one hour. The longer the interval, the cheaper the transactions will be. If you need to change the terms and conditions of a contract, a new project must be created.
   
• When work is terminated in the middle of a time interval, the contract calculates elapsed seconds and makes the last payout based on a rate-per-interval. This way, no time is ever left unpaid. All unused funds are returned to Payer upon termination or expiry of the contract.

In short, it allows everyone to pay and get paid in any cryptocurrency on a time-basis. It is open-source and doesn’t require registration, approvals, KYC, and permissions. It is geo-agnostic and works everywhere, on every device.

Whom can I use it with? Use STTR App with anyone you want to communicate value with on a time-basis. The tracker doesn't act as a marketplace or catalog of employers or freelancers - there are enough of those already. You will have to find your partners on your own. But once you do, all you need is a pair of ETH addresses and an internet connection to start transacting and exchanging labor hours for digital assets.

Can I just hire my friend to wash dishes or my project manager to make 200 calls? Yes, and you will pay them by the minute or the call. In the first case, a camera-enabled device can be used as an activity tracker with a mobile app connected to a network. In the second case, the app might connect to sound i/o or a specific port or web camera to track activity. But if you trust your partner, this may not be necessary. The activity tracker is optional - just tell your partner to enable the time tracker, and they will receive payments every second/minute/10m/1h. The use cases for Time Tracker are limited only by your imagination.





Please, note that we are not creating the market place. STTR Project is not aiming to replace job boards and existing freelance websites or platforms. Instead, we are aiming to facilitate time-based value exchange using cryptocurrencies. You still need to find your employers/employees elsewhere. But once you do, all you need is an ETH/BTC address to start exchanging labor hours for digital crypto assets. Time can be tracked on your laptop, mobile device, smartwatch etc. The payouts are automatic and funds can be used right away.


No chargebacks, refunds, unpaid labor or other nonsense. You are simply and trustlessly exchanging labor hours for ETH/BTC/ERC20. What is done during that time is your business, not ours. We keep it simple.
