1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [ANN] beeeeerdroid (beeeeer.org monitor for android) on: December 24, 2013, 08:20:34 AM
Hi,
Here's an app I developed for those mining XPM using beeeeer.org pool.

From Google Play:

If you are pool mining Primecoins using beeeeer.org, you might find this app handy. It allows you to enter your XPM address(es) and monitor your miner(s).

This app will only show you the amount of XPM mined, nothing more. If you're looking for a more detailed log, you might want to use xpm.syware.de, although it will only let you check one address at a time.

Easy to use interface, with just a few essential commands.

Please keep in mind that this is a beta version, so bugs are likely to be found. If that's the case, please report them. So far, the only problem I've experienced (and I'll probably fix it soon) is that the menu stays open (looks like it froze) while refreshing.

If you find this app useful, please consider tipping, I'd really appreciate it.

I hope you'll find this useful. If you find any bug, please report them in a detailed way, not just "Ugh. Crash. Sucks. " :-)

Just out of curiosity, what do you mean by "quite some coins"? I mean, I hardly think you'll ever get good money out of such services; plus considering the fact that, whatever you earn, your clicks make them earn at least 10 times more, I find it a waste of time.

That's my point of view, of course, and it's not worth much. I tried said kind of websites some time ago, but then I realized that I could never get a real profit out of it. That's why I decided to do something different to earn cryptocurrencies.

I'm no expert in this world, I'm here to learn new things, but I just wanted to suggest you to start finding alternative ways of earning cryptocurrencies Smiley

I don't know whether this post is actually read by the staff or not, but I'll write a message nonetheless... I mean, I still have almost three hours to pass on here, might as well write something somewhere Smiley

I was wondering if I could be put in the whitelist; I developed an android app for monitoring the beeeeer pool (XPM mining), and I really wish I could create a topic about it Smiley  It might not be a good enough reason but well, at least I tried Cheesy

Well I wasn't really complaining Cheesy I was just a little bit annoyed about it, and since I have to spend some time on here, I thought I'd share my thought on the fact Cheesy

Okay, I understand that newbies should only be allowed to write in here, that makes sense and seems to be working just fine Smiley

I also understand that newbies have to wait 6 minutes between each message in order to block spam messages Smiley

But what I really can't understand is why I'm told to wait 6 minutes before posting a new reply when I'm trying to post my first message, plus my "total time logged in" was only 2 minutes :/

Then, after I waited 6 minutes, I tried to post the answer, and I'm told I'm trying to send the same message twice in a row... And obviously, my message wasn't posted eventually Sad

Really wish I could understand more of this Sad Let's hope I'll be able to post this message, at least Smiley!
