sgminer can be downloaded here: https://www.hirocoin.org/forum/index.php/page,downloads.html%22;

I'm using the Windows one from that link.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to download x11 and get settings for my gpus

Thanks

Which card(s) are you using?

My configs for three(3) different cards.

7950 card(s): [1.8mh][60-70C at 50% fan.]
Code:
sgminer.exe -k darkcoin -g 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-memclock 1375 --gpu-engine 1080 --gpu-powertune d --auto-fan --gpu-fan 50-100 --temp-overheat 75 --temp-cutoff 85 --intensity 13

280x DC2T card(s): [2.26mh][60-70C at 50% fan.]
Code:
sgminer.exe -k darkcoin -g 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-memclock 1600 --gpu-engine 1150 --gpu-powertune d --auto-fan --gpu-fan 50-100 --temp-overheat 75 --temp-cutoff 85 --intensity 13

280x Toxic card(s): [2.38mh][60-70C at 50% fan.]
Code:
sgminer.exe -k darkcoin -g 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-memclock 1800 --gpu-engine 1200 --gpu-powertune d --auto-fan --gpu-fan 50-100 --temp-overheat 75 --temp-cutoff 85 --intensity 13

These specs are working good for me. Hope they will perform just as good for the next person should someone try.

1. is the low WU normal? its a different unit from what i'm used to so I have no idea if its still within 90% of the hashrate.
2. how many hero coins do u get with 1 280x per day? sorry i dont trust the pool statistics
3. since mining this coin gives me lower temperature than mining others i was wondering if its consuming less power to? i don't have a killawatt

WU seems normal, hope so at least Tongue, I have the same.
I'm not sure exactly how much but the pool statistics have been close to what I've gotten so far so I'm been going by what it shows me.

Jup. I took a look at my el.bill since I started use x11 algorithm the bill have been cut in half so I'm very satisfied at least. Tongue

Hope this answer somewhat to what you were hoping for at least.

Morning guys,

getting 2.374 out of my R9 290 tri x, does this seem about right? Loving the lower temps, I actually slept last night Smiley

LP

I don't have a 290 myself but I think, and hope, you should be able to get more out of it using your card(s).

Why are you using a 280x's tc? 7950s should either have multiples of 1792 (shader count).

Yes I know but for some reason it gives me the most stable config so I just stuck with.

1.8mh on my 7950's.
Browsing, movies, games (although it decrease a little bit if, 1.5-1.6, I start a game i.e. PoE) and don't feel it at all.

Anyways just wanted to give another specc.
But like someone said previously. Should try and play a bit to find the one that works good for you. Smiley

Freyja pliz show a screenshot?

You mean of the miner showing the hash?
I'm not home at the moment but I can do it when I get home if you still want.

The speed varies with different computers and GPU's, even I have all same models my speed is between 190 - 287
I think 240 is not so bad.
I use script:
--scrypt --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1389028879 --queue 0 --scan-time 4 --expiry 2
I have -I 17, 19 and 20
This because some GPU's crash if I use higest I.

I've never had the need to use that high intensity for either jane or normal scrypt. The specs I wrote are the ones that gave me the best speed, in scrypt-jane. I have some other for scrypt.

Keep in mind that these are the specs I use and they might not give the same results for you.
The speed can vary, like halibit stated, even when using the same models so you can try someone else's spec but you might still end up having to adjust them a little bit.

The following settings is for my 7950 and gives me 295kh with scrypt-jane (MRC).
Code:
--Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1389028879 --queue 0 --scan-time 2 --expiry 4 --no-submit-stale -g 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-memclock 1150 --gpu-engine 950 --intensity 12

I only get 290 kh/s with my 280x is this normal or bad results?

Thanks!

It's normal and it all depends on the clocks.. It's like this due to the nFactor.

I'm running DC2T at 300kh and few Toxics at 340kh myself so.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [GPUC] GPU Coin | Launch 02MAR14 | IPO Available on: February 26, 2014, 04:54:59 AM
does anyone know if i can start cgminer before  the coin comes live, i will be a work during the launch   Sad

If you join a pool you can.
Direct them to your worker on selected pool and your miners will start as soon that pool is up and running.

Noob question: Now that I own some shares, how will I get my part of the profits? Directly on the website?

Yes. Once they start with the dividends your share will show up as BTC on Cryptostocks website in your account.

Yes, exactly.

Code:
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=192.168.1.*
rpcallowip=192.168.1.*

rpcconnect = my original/first miner (the one with the wallet).
rpcallowip = use this for every new pc/miner you want to connect.

Yes you need a port as well. Same one as the one you have in your .CONF-file.

Example of my .CONF:
Code:
rpcuser=whateveryouwant
rpcpassword=x
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=192.168.1.*
rpcallowip=192.168.1.*
rpcport=9888
daemon=1
server=1
listen=1
gen=0
addnode=84.251.34.142:3232
addnode=84.251.34.142:2232

While pools are updating software, I've mined one block in solo. So good Smiley

With old version of wallet?

Quote
Please update to the latest microCoin wallet. This update is mandatory and older clients will not work anymore.

Sourcecode:
https://github.com/microcoinsource/microcoin

Windows wallet:
http://www19.zippyshare.com/v/62125419/file.html

Let it sync and you can solo mine while waiting for pool(s).
