And it looks like we got an easy win on the Challenger parlay Smiley...More to come.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting Picks ( RECORD 142-64-16) on: July 03, 2013, 10:50:01 PM
Yeah, that's true. I guess the potential reward would justify the risk, in the case of a small bet.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting Picks ( RECORD 142-64-16) on: July 03, 2013, 09:55:18 PM
Betting on these on Anonibet (Wednesday/Thursday Matches)...

Parlay:

Aljaz Bedene versus Filip Veger | Aljaz Bedene ML 1.22
Tim Smyczek versus Christian Harrison | Tim Smyczek ML 1.29
Michael Russell versus Michael Quintero | Michael Russell ML 1.16
Adrian Ungur versus Lorenzo Giustino | Adrian Ungur ML 1.24

Total: 2.26

According to http://www.tennisabstract.com/, a tennis sabermetrics and analysis site, all of these players have over an 85% chance of winning their respective matches.
Aljaz Bedene: 94.1%
Tim Smyczek: 85.1%
Michael Russell: 97.5%
Adrian Ungur: 87.7%

ATP Rankings:
Aljaz Bedene: #90 versus Filip Veger: #764
Tim Smyczek: #120 versus Christian Harrison: #357
Michael Russell: #95 versus Michael Quintero: #433
Adrian Ungur: #94 versus Lorenzo Giustino: #336

I do not see any of the players on the right-hand side winning. They're just simply outmatched.

No problem Cheesy I'm going to post some more tonight (ATP Challenger) that I think are good value parlays (ATP #100 vs ATP #500 for instance)...
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting Picks ( RECORD 142-64-16) on: July 03, 2013, 08:54:12 PM
One of my Friday picks ATM...

N. Djokovic / J.M. Del Potro - J.M. Del Potro +534
J. Janowicz / A. Murray - J. Janowicz +443

Total: +3343

For the first match, both Djokovic and Del Potro have not dropped a set during the entire tournament thus far (5 matches). While Djokovic, as the 2011 champion, is certainly the favorite, an upset is possible. Del Potro's H2H against Djokovic is not too terrible at 4-8, and beating Djokovic at Indian Wells this year and during the 2012 Olympics. Del Potro seems to be returning to his Grand Slam winning form, just as in 2009, and can be a dangerous opponent.

The rising star Jerzy Janowicz and Andy Murray come into this match both having faced a 5 setter (Janowicz d. Melzer and Murray d. Verdasco). Today, Murray came from two sets down to take the win against Fernando Verdasco. However, Janowicz will not be as nearly forgiving and will punish Murray for his mistakes. With serves reaching speeds of up to 140+ mph and blistering groundstrokes, he poses a great threat to Andy Murray if he keeps his unforced errors down and remains consistent. Furthermore, Janowicz has the slight advantage in the H2H at 1-0, defeating Murray at the 2012 Paris Masters en route to the final.

The odds are enticing, so I am going to put a small play on this parlay.

0.1 units for return of 3.443 units.

Barely won that tennis parlay...

Jerzy and Djoko won in straight sets, but Murray got taken to a five setter surprisingly (came back from two sets down)!

+8 units on Wimbledon so far
