Main website dead - all mining pool sites also dead. All pool servers still sucking up hashes.
This appears to be a scam. I strongly advise everyone to stop mining all minercoop pools immediately.

I see DogeChain is currently about 130 blocks behind all the pools. Transactions are being held up everywhere. The discrepancy seems to be narrowing.

Is it still OK to use:
ny.wdc.theblocksfactory.com:3334   ?

It seems to work, and being in the NorthEast US (Pennsylvania), I'm closer to NY than to Canada.

Or, does the ny.wdc address actually just point at one of the others now?

Wish list...

Really like your pool, but would it be possible to implement a graph in the block stats?
Actual, expected, and windowed average shares vs. blocks would be cool.

Mining alt-coins seems to make the most sense if you go with what is currently most profitable. Mine a small amount (enough to minimize transaction fees), then go to an exchange and convert them to BitCoin. If all coins are currently in a dip, it might be best to wait until a rally to convert to BitCoin. Alt coins fluctuate more than BitCoin, so you'll get even more BitCoin if you convert when alt's are high.

This is FAR more profitable that trying to mine Bitcoins directly. Unless you already have ASIC hardware, you can't even begin to compete in that game.

Go to CoinChoose, CoinWarz, etc and look for an alt that has some mining/trading volume which tends to be among the most profitable. Note that some coins briefly appear at the top of the list, but have no following - don't waste your time even thinking about them. They'll probably plunge before you can trade them.
I'd only mine a coin that has at least a few million $ in market cap.

WorldCoin and BBQcoin seem to be doing well recently. LiteCoin - not so good. Obviously that can (and does) change frequently. LiteCoin could be the best choice next week.
