How bad will the bear market of 2021 get? How low will BTC go?

Considering the market pattern of Bitcoin in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020, it is likely that we might see the market value of bitcoin go below $30k or $25k. The Bitcoin market is also full of surprises, I will be surprised if we see Bitcoin drop below $25k. Also, the market value can potentially go beyond $40k.

Geee wizz, Bitcoin might go below where it is now (drop below 25k), or maybe it could go above (potentially go beyond 40k). People keep saying this same statement in different words over and over, like that means something. Might go up, might go down, might rain, might be sunny. Way to say nothing at all.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Multibit wallet, how to keep my BTC safe while getting access to BTG and BCash? on: December 21, 2017, 03:17:51 AM
Hello all,

I've got an old Multibit Classic wallet sitting around that's not been touched for quite a while, not much in there, about half a coin, but with the prices nowadays "not much" is getting debatable even with only half of a BTC. Smiley

From what I understand Multibit Classic won't work well or at all anymore, especially not with upcoming changes, and won't support BTG and BCash.

Seems like this version does easily support exporting the Private Keys, and I viewed the video about importing to Electrum in this manner.

It's not clear to me how to do this and then also access / store the BTG and BCash equivalents in their own wallet without risking either losing them or my BTC.

Of course, it would be preferable to do so without transferring between wallets, considering the time and cost involved, especially if I recall correctly it's divided into two wallet addresses, so I'd have to do everything at least two times, including the cost of transferring to another address. Wink

Does anyone have any insight / tips for what steps to take? Are there any wallets that will just support all these forks at once maybe? If not, any suggestions for good local wallets for these coins (no cloud)?

Thanks for any time ya'll spend on this. Smiley

So, are ya'll telling me that the devs ponied up over 22.000 USD to get listed on an exchange?

...that's some serious dedication...

only 1 gpu, not worth it Sad

Diff is still low

Getting worker not authorized using the nicehash miner from the getting started page, any idea what's up? Using the same credentials as for other coins on your pool.

Syntax is a bit different,  it's  - O myuser.myworker:myworkerpass

Check that you have that right

Just for shits and giggles I took out the -G to CPU mine, which works, but of course only at 0.25 - 0.3 KH/s or somesuch, my worker isn't seen as active however, while it is seen as a valid worker in ethminer.

Any idea why that would be, or is the hashrate just too low to show up?

Thanks, turns out I'm an idiot, forgot an important part of the login Tongue

Also turns out that my GPU doesn't have enough ram (1.2GB) for the DAG, so I'm SOL.

Thanks for answering so quickly though
