1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE][REALTIME] Crycurex.com exchange on: January 22, 2014, 02:26:35 PM
Probably because this is being manually done, which seems silly...

I've still been unable to get a wallet for 19 hours. A new exchange is more likely to be released before I get to transact anything Cheesy

Unable to make a wallet for COYE for 6+ hours.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][COYE] Coinye Coin - v3.0 on: January 16, 2014, 06:42:48 PM
Selling COYE  at the rate of 1 COYE = 4 satoshi
Accepting payment in BTC/LTC/DOGE at the rate of 1BTC = 33LTC = 2.2m DOGE

You go first or use a trusted free escrow member for larger orders.
Pm me offers
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][COYE] Coinye Coin - UPDATE on: January 15, 2014, 12:28:31 AM
On hearing 0daycoins closing down I withdrew my coins. They sent an email link and I clicked it to confirm the withdraw. It took almost exactly 2 hours to hit my wallet but I have my coin.

Major props to the team for being honest and reliable. Best experience with a new exchange, sad to see it go.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][COYE] Coinye Coin - UPDATE on: January 14, 2014, 03:30:19 PM
Yeah guys, it's closed ( I think )

When I tried to do withdraw, I got a blank page then it got stucked there
Tried to log again and.. Blank Tongue

Anyway, this coin was a funny one.

I'm thinking to advertise my twitter through this topic. I gave 0.5 BTC for that account, so I guess I have the right. ( One more guy gave another half of a BTC )

This coin is going to die when people hear that in 0day were 25 BTC in 1-2 satoshi orders.

It could easily just be that their server is down for whatever reason. Could be temporary. I'm confused why you paid so much for the accounts to a coin that you seem to not really have that much faith in...

You swing from being very pro coinye to it's dead at the drop of a hat. It almost seems like you were expecting something to go wrong and to declare defeat as soon as anything does.
I can change the whole topic and redirect somewhere else.

I never believed in this hype coin. Smiley

I'm a trader. I'm a sociopath. I have no guilt.

Keep bringing conspiracies up, I'll be right back, lunch time Cheesy

Honestly, if you were a sociopath, I'd feel more comfortable with you having the accounts. I'd know that everything you'd do would be for your interest in making money off this coin. But from what I see, you've been nothing but emotional, getting into arguments with some random guy and having insane mood swings.

0day is back up. It was down for like half an hour and you were crying the coin is dead. Seriously, if it's sleep deprivation that's making you act like this, I'd recommend getting some sleep.

Honestly, for a PR guy, you really suck at PR for yourself.
+1 although a little harsh

Need evidence before making a claim. Hours of waiting, pinging, feedback from other people to confirm such claims.

PR hasnt been the best, but the good intentions were there. However, saying a coin is dead certainly isnt good PR. Sure you will get a lot of hate and complaints, but thats part of any development/project and this one will attract more simply because of its nature. Ignore the comments, there are people who are more civilised with their discussions and comments.

Personally I dont think the coin is dead but I don't think its future is looking bright at this instance. There is a lot of trade volume and the 0daycoins exchange is a big hurdle. The new exchange and cryptsy might help, the coin needs to be have options of being converted to other currencies, BTC, LTC and DOGE aren't enough. The more coins that are included, especially newer ones, the better it is. People will invest more into coinye that way.

I'm going to buy 5m coinye and sit on it, its dirt cheap right now so why not and if it really does die I am at little loss.
Just my 2 coinye

Annnnd its back up. The world did not end. Carry on.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][COYE] Coinye Coin - UPDATE on: January 14, 2014, 03:03:12 PM
The exchange was up for a few seconds, balances were untouched. So far it appears to be a DDOS. I imagine the number of people refreshing to check also isnt helping.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][COYE] Coinye Coin - UPDATE on: January 14, 2014, 02:44:27 PM
Exchange goes down for 10 minutes and people are assuming its stolen. Maybe it's DDOS'ed. Either way, I only had a small fraction of coin on there so I'm not worried on the outcome too much.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][COYE] Coinye Coin - Launch: JANUARY 7, 2014. 7 PM PST on: January 11, 2014, 05:13:32 PM
So I see the first exchange for coinye is up: https://0daycoins.com/
I deposited a tiny amount of coin, traded it around and managed to successfully withdraw. To withdraw you need to click on the email they send you, it took around 5 mins to arrive and the email lead to a blank page but the coin was paid out. Legit so far.

Looks like this coin is getting dumped though, looking at the exchange all the buy offers at being snapped up at 7-10 satoshi and above that it is saturated. Im interested to see if it tanks or if there are enough people wanting to buy to sustain it. More so I want to see how the media effects this, the lawyer stuff is hilarious.

Just looks like it's too popular, I'm sure it will be fine in a short while

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Your hashrate (KH/s) on you pc. on: December 21, 2013, 11:10:50 PM
The latest cudaminer update really boosted some khash. I've been testing around with a few cards and a gtx760 went from 150khash to 200khash, which is a decent increase. This is still not close to being as effective as amd cards but its progress. A comparable card of a similar price of amd will probably yield 500khash or so. Currently running two 7950's which gives between 1100-1300khash, but its not too stable past that. I think anyone who wants to be a little more serious about mining should switch cards to amd. You can always sell them at the end, assuming you dont fry them Tongue

Dont doge for the monies, doge for the moon. All those who are dumping aren't making much and will never get to visit the moon. Doge has potential, I just hope people don't take it too seriously, its a fun way to get into mining though and the community is helpful
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wish I had seen the potential in 2009 on: December 21, 2013, 09:43:36 PM
Definitely in the same boat, I saw it a long time ago but there wasn't much info about it. I tried a bit of cpu mining but I never got much out of it, a few coins. That wallet is long lost and I sure am kicking myself for not seeing the potential, it was just a fun thing to try at the time. Ah well.
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies don't mine! on: December 21, 2013, 09:28:27 PM
But...but... we dig dig dig dig dig dig dig from morning until night, we dig dig dig dig dig dig dig up everything in sight...
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why I signed up on: December 21, 2013, 08:42:20 PM
Awesome! I like the 7950's for their cost/hashrate ratio. I can mine stable at 650khash/s without any problem, its definitely better to be stable. Best of luck with your mining Smiley
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining coins when do I get my first one? on: December 21, 2013, 08:32:12 PM
You have an incredibly low hash rate, it is unlikely to be profitable. GPU mining on alt coins is a lot faster.

If you are solo mining it will take a lot longer to find a block, however if you mine in a pool then you will be rewarded for the contribution of work you put in. In either case you may never get a full coin at such a lot hash rate Sad

There's a whole lot of alt coins, I prefer them slightly over bitcoin since they aren't asic'd yet
