I think ICOs will not die in 2018.There is no doubt that the ICO market has seen nothing but success yet, and there are some fundamentally strong projects in the market, but a correction is due in time. I believe there are many potential cons will grow more and some will hit on peak.So picking the right altcoin will be more important. Altcoin are also more profitable also, but always be careful, because some of them are scam.

Of course for product launches very important. It says that team worked hard before ICO even without investor money. Many altcoins are available in market, Ripple is one of the top crypto coins in terms of market cap in my opinion. With many potential collaborations and increasing interest from large institutions, the stability and growing potential of the Ripple look promising. I will choose Ripple to invest in the future.

I think it is very risky to buy even cryptocurrency which in top 100. Crypto market is very risky. But in spite of risk you always have chance what coin which you buy will grow up in several times. There aren't really any stable altcoins but I'm guessing what you are asking are for altcoins which coins are the least likely to have their prices fluctuate. The fact is that the prices of altcoins mostly follows the price of bitcoin and as long as bitcoin keeps fluctuating then the altcoins will too so there are no stable coins.

It is very important and attractive for me to acquire new knowledge about any promising direction of life, including cryptography, which interests me both as a new technology and as a possible earnings.

I think altcoin can be stable again if bitcoin prices start to stabilize and crawl up. In addition to the btc as a reference, eth coins can also be a reference of altcoin price movements
