I think both coins are very good and have their respective advantages but if I was asked to choose one of them I would choose Ethereum, I prefer Ethereum because the price is stable and from time to time the higher the price. So I think it is suitable for long-term investment

in my country bitcoin and alt coin have been officially traded, but there is no legality in my country but there is no forbidden to have alt coin or bitcoin.
which obviously my country's government does not want to know and do not want to interfere about the world of crypto.

For me as a trader it's hard sometimes when you have a different job. I always bring my laptop and always monitor what's going on if it is high or low and my investment is increasing or decreasing.
