Alt coins price drop because it is affected by Bitcoins price which was dropping too. And current market condition is bearish probably this are the main reason why almost all alt coins are dropping but trading is a cycle  if there is bearish season there is a bull run too just be patience.

There are some good altcoins to buy. All you need to do is research, review and study coin before buying it. Try also to diversify you money into different altcoins.

There is no such thing that government can kill crypto currencies. I admit many countries did not use bitcoin but many countries also adopted bitcoin and regulating it in their own countries. I don't agree with the statement that investmet in BTC looks a bit easier than Forex. That to me is not correct because trading BTC in forex is far more profittable. For instance, in forex you don't care if the price of BTC is falling or rising... you make money either way as the liquidity is second to none

 think if the bitcoin is going down just buy and hold and sell if the bitcoin is pump. Dont fully invest bitcoin because bitcoin is longterm coin like ethereum . If you hold a coin give a patience and wait until pump.
