Greetings arkies. When is ArkVM and ark deployer likely to be completed ?
ARK Deployer, on May 28: https://deployer.ark.io/As for ARKVM is no more and instead they'll release something new and better which they call ARK Logic The following comparison is from parts I picked from their ARK's whitepaper. How a VM like Ethereum's work,"Standard Smart Contract architecture where developers deploy versatile and complex applications tend to require a Virtual Machine of some sort. This essentially provides the ‘runtime engine’ in which the applications reside. Virtual machines must run a variety of applications, and this usually results in a bloated system that requires heavy resources to run simple tasks."How ARK Logic works,"Our solution to this is to deliver more than just automation and distributed relay execution. We want to give organizations the power to develop their own application logic, the way they are already used to doing it, by using existing tooling and developing normal applications that can be deployed on our blockchain infrastructure via the modular architecture of plugins."For the full whitepaper, visit here: https://ark.io/Whitepaper.pdfThanks. When is this ark logic likely to be finished. The roadmap on the website seems out of date

Awesome project you have here. Just bought some BPT and i have connected my MEW wallet to Metamask. Now should i send my BPT tokens to the MEW/Metamask wallet address ?
yeah just send them to your ETH address like any ERC20 token & yr good. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Thanks

ark is dead
Thanks for letting us know.,have you dumped your coins or still waiting too? There are many people waiting for you to dump it cheap. His first comment (quoted bellow) has a valid point, but to say ARK is dead is an overstatement! Did you guys see WAX just announced EOS as their contender instead of Ark, this is really unfair EOS doesn't even have a mainnet yet while Ark is going to release their v2 soon.
in cryptocurrency world, hype, self pump, insider pump, whale pump, fake volumes is real and development is later or never at all. all the shits eos, cardano, neo, tron...know how to hype, ark don't. ark is drifting into the black hole and will be forgotten. you say but ark have mainnet, well, if ark team and people can't hype then the mainnet or tech is not going to be worth much, people will just copy and claim it their own then hype it. of course wax is going to pick the best hype like eos, not something like ark. it's all about hype and fake volumes, everything is later or don't exist everyone is going to claim they have the best tech and development including ark With that said, even if ARK is less hyped than other projects, as long as the projects that work with ARK do well, then ARK will also get fame. My favorite project of the ones that work with ARK is the Blockport, a decentrilized exchange. The last week the price of their token fell a lot so if you want to get involved and support ARK in an indirect way, that's your chance. I also like the Blockport project. Thanks for the heads up on their token just bought some.

I have no doubt on Ark's team, but volume is something to concern. In crypto, people tend to chase hype in newer projects.
Doesn't that mean we have lots of hodlers ! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Anyways, publicity is what will bring volume. And they are doing that part. v2.0 will surely bring more volume. I believe what will bring more volume (and more "ask") will be projects that are built on top of ARK, like for example Blockport and Cesirae. Note: I'm not sure if Blockport is built ON TOP of ARK's system or if it's using some of its features in some kind of a collaboration.Blockport seeks to build a hybrid-decentralized architecture for their exchange that will be able to communicate with various blockchains thanks to Ark's ACES. They will use ACES to transfer value between blockchains which i think will benefit both projects. Blockport will implement their hybrid-decentralized exchange between Q4 of 2018 and q1 of 2019. More on that here https://medium.com/blockport/ark-blockport-partnership-updates-bc6cff2e252a

Reading about the proposed Global Public Chain Assessment Index by China is see that some of the criteria that will be used to rate are independent main chain, use cases, open source code etc. I think its an honor for Ark to be one of the first 28 cryptocurrencies that will be assessed. I expect a high rating for Ark.

This is good. Do you know of any other projects looking to build on ark ? It would be good to have some sort of curated list (maybe github) from the team to find the new additions easily. I think that is a major point to really see the project going forward Yeah. It can help the ark community engage with the projects in one way or the other

https://ark.io/roadmapCore V2 under "Developing & writing ARK CORE v2" is at 93% ! Once it will reach 100% it's gonna be tested and then the final step is deploying on main net, not too far away it seems This is good progress. Can't wait for ark to start being developed on

When core V2 i released what happens to the ark stored in our wallets ?Will we need to upgrade our wallets? What will happen to ark stored on exchanges?

I am an aspiring blockchain game developer and have been studying solidity. I am also interested in developing on the arkvm platform once it goes live. Will i be able to use solidity on the arkvm or what programming language(s) should i learn ?
Since ArkVM is and EVM port, yes you'll be able to write smart contracts with solidity. But not only that, you can build your own bridgechain which is perfect for a game in my opinion because there will be 0 possibilities to clog the main chain. Thanks. This is awesome

Greetings Ethereum Community I have recently discovered the joy of learning (more like relearning) a programming language and (in this case solidity). I have decided am going to increase my knowledge and develop using solidity as a way of contributing to the community as i believe for cryptocurrencies to succeed they have to provide real solutions/uses to more people. If we have more useful DApps being developed then i see a strong future for Ether and other currencies. I don't beleive simply investing and trading will make the Ether price go up. Its what we as a community do to advance the cause. So it may be of help to contribute in some way e.g. educating more people around you about smart contracts. I am not panicking in the least at these low prices and encourage everyone who is panicking to brush up on knowledge cause we have not yet exhausted all the opportunities of the blockchain.e.g. Ethereum developers are working on something called e-WASM, an Ethereum based Web Assembly that will make it easier for people to interact with smart contracts. I say the best days are ahead of us.
