So...I just searched the population report on PSA, specifically regarding the Ginter X black mini cards, and the results are interesting.
According to the current pop report, a total of 16 non-cryptocurrency black mini cards have been graded. Of those 16 black mini cards, 11 received the high grade of PSA10. That's a whopping 68.75% of the total population of all non-#83 black mini cards! By that average, at least 6 (or 6.1875, to be accurate) of the registered 9 cryptocurrency cards in the pop report should have received the same high grade of PSA10. Strangely, there is not a single PSA10 cryptocurrency card. WTF?!?
Why are all the other black mini cards receiving the highest grades, but not the cryptocurrency card?
I recall reading in a baseball forum that some collectors suggest that the grading companies know which cards are the most desired/expensive, and they grade those cards a lot stricter than any other cards in an effort to keep the 10-grade population low (which helps to control/regulate the collectibles market).
I don't know if that theory is true, but I do find it quite disturbing that of those 9 graded cryptocurrency cards, an average of 6 should have received a high grade of PSA10, but not a single card received that grade. Again...WTF?!?

Yes. the mini ginter x black ones should 4 10s at least. i sent in 22 of the BIG ginter x and got 6 10s! Something is not right. I would like to see what a Mini X would come back graded from beckett. The one I sent to PSA looked perfect to me and came back a 9. |

Wow. my plan was to get 10 mini X cards, but those have all but disappeared. Also have my eyes on a couple of mini golds. If anyone has 4 mini blacks they want to trade, let me know. Here's some eye candy since we've fallen to page 2 now. Hope we don't lose steam.  I see who I was bidding against for all those Mini X's now. Good score!  |

But if you refuse the shipment due to customs, how can it be considered that you are the owner? You refused to take delivery.....  Dude, really ?  Ofc im not refusing the shipment Is this some bad joke or just a post count ? I do not refuse to take my item and own it, i just don't have the money and i didn't know i should pay something to own it. Im not refusing the delivery ofc and even if i refused it which is not the case, when you become owner of something even if you refuse to pick it you still remain the owner, the thing just wait you somewhere till you want to pick it, because you are owner of it. Jeez.. You are trying to sell something you don't own. Either pay the tax collect your Art or refuse it. What you should have done is contact Frank prior to making this post. Worked out all the details before trying to sell something you don't have possession of. This is a giant mess that could have been avoided. You should have known Customs would have wanted Duties/Fees. |

I agree. I'm still wondering what the exact numbers on these Crypto Mini X's will be. Beckett Pricing/Checklist still has the Mini X listed as a 1 of 1 card. We know this isn't true, but I'm still not sold on the 100 or so info we got from collectors. |

A couple interesting notes from the Beckett Pricing/Checklist. https://www.beckett.com/search/?term=cryptocurrencyIt has the Allen and Ginter X Black Mini listed as 1 of 1 card. I know I've seen several listed on ebay not many, but a few listed at the same time. So that can't be accurate. I know collectors are saying its under 100, but it might be less. It also has a Silver Allen and Ginter X listed as a 1 of 1. |
