So I'm trying to test Multipool ahead of time, but on anything other then port 7777 I get "stratum_subscribe timed out".

Do the direct ports work?

I noticed something odd going on with DOGE specifically, might be because they recently added it to the exchange.

I logged a ticket as I was missing 5k after depositing even after 2000+ confirmations, ticket got resolved without closure. Good old blockchain to the rescue to provide proof of the transactions, hopefully it gets sorted. Other coins are going through fine however.

Ticket 57975 if anyone is watching. Otherwise happy with the DOGE exchange so far.

Edit: I saw the bad lag earlier, thought it was my end, guess not.

Very nice, seeing about a 50-60khash/s improvement on this new version on a GTX 670. Nice one OP!

So erm, just a q.

Why do you guys spend your time mining new coins like this? Surely you don't think they are going to be worth anything anytime soon, is it just for the hobby/fun of mining something? Huh

I found that a lot of websites tend to waste your time as they have unrealistic payouts/fees or are horribly broken and some of them are flat out scams.

I recently launched a website to help weed out the bad ones, check out http://lootbitcoin.com/. It lets people vote on the best ones and all the current websites I've personally checked, which I intend to keep doing with each new submission.

Hello.. I can tell you that bitcoin addict hasn't paid in a looooong time as far as I know,

I tested it throughly a couple months back, if you know differently let me know.

I like your voting system...   Smiley I recommend making a payment proof section as well.

Check out my site for more sites for yours.... http://bitcoinwork.info/earn-free-bitcoin.html

Thanks for the heads up, I'll see if I can get a payout from them using their site and update if not. I like the idea of the payment proof section, might toy around with some ideas to work this in. Any suggestions on what you would like to see as proof, like a similar voting system or something?

Checked it out and I get a SSL certificate error just trying to get to the place. I'm going to disable it for now and see if I can contact somone Sad

But I like mining Huh

Yeah I know its not profitable but I can't just buy them and one day if Bitcoin does explode into mainstream usage at least I'll be sitting on some trivial amount that might be worth something.

18  Other / Beginners & Help / Bitcointalk Newbie Says Hi on: December 24, 2013, 12:57:16 AM
Hi!

Recently joined your community and wanted to say hi to everyone for my first newbie post.

I've dabbled in Bitcoin a bit over the last couple of months especially with all the free faucets as its Christmas and my family is not very well off. I couldn't find a decent and updated website with them, so I created my own at http://lootbitcoin.com/ which is going fairly well having launched to a small group a couple of weeks ago and recently going public.

So hi!  Cheesy
