Remember the first 250 blocks have no reward. Nodes were included with the windows QT. There was a sample conf file in the folder.

Remember, for every seller there is a buyer. The way I see it, somebody is buying up a TON of Moon at 5, 4, and now 3 satoshis. Expect a pump in the next couple of weeks for the whale to exit his investment. It has happened before.

There are a lot of people trying to hold this coin down. Lots of fake twitter accounts spreading false rumors. Even going so far as to write barely readable articles about an "Earthcoin Scam" and re-tweeting the link over and over and over...

What version of MSI Afterburner are you using? I had black-screen and BSOD problems with any version except for the BETA 17. Give that a try first. Also, I posted a guide on how to set up a 290X with all of my settings on my blog. About $100 under your budget you could get an XFX R9 290X. I'm getting 935 Kh/s with mine and pretty happy with it.
