No, GXG is far from dead, we still are up and running and all is well. Our plan to add masternodes has been delayed till later this year, but still in our plans. Besides masternodes, what other things are you looking for from our coin or like to see added?  We curious to know - we consider this a community project and are always looking for new ideas. |

Thought it was time to produce an update on where things stand with our upgrades. While everything looks very promising for integrating masternodes with the current GXG core code, it is going to take a lot longer than we anticipated. Our programmer is making good progress, but it is not as simple as just dropping in the DASH code and saying we are done. Currently, we are looking at an early July 2019 release date. In the mean time, GXG is still a very usable coin in its current state and very secure. We are still waiting on Cryptopia to open trading again - they have not caught up from the January hacking incident - but we hope to be trading there again soon. In the mean time, we are being traded on Enmanet.com and we are on the voting list for SouthXchange.com.

GXG Masternodes is now in work - hoping to have it done in late April. More good news is that Cryptopia should be going again within a week or two.
As it turns out, the DASH code that we are using for our Masternode update was designed to be compatible with a much older version of bitcoin core. As a result, there is a lot more work to get all this coded and then working than we expected. We still have it in work and will let you know when we are ready to test - we may need a few beta testers when this is complete sometime in May. |

Cryptopia is back up and running in read only mode it appears. Our new code should support their getting GXG reinstated and trading again there once hey are fully operational. It is quite commendable, they are back up and running in less than 2 months.

We are pleased to announce that Groin Coin (GXG) is listed and trading on http://www.enmanet.com. This is a new and growing exchange and we are very happy to be listed and trading there as of today! Now that we are trading somewhere, we can start the process of updating our client to include masternodes - hopefully by April of this year. So get on Enmanet and get your GXG wallet started! |

We are trying to get listed on a new exchange right now and test it out before announcing it - we need more miners to help get our hash rate up to move the block chain - right now it is very slow to get the coins into the new exchange - please Mine GXG, either in groinpool.com or one of the other pools.

Groin Coin is on the voting list for SouthXchange.com. SouthXchange is a great new exchange that we like a lot and will be a great exchange for GXG to trade on. We need at least 500 votes and they take the top coin each Wednesday. Not sure what you mean? We have 3 wallets running on the new software and ALL the mining pools have updated and are running the new code. |

Just a reminder, even though Cryptopia is still in maintenance mode, we should be clear to trade there once they re-open. Additionally, we are working on getting GXG getting listed as well. There are several pools working, including the official GXG Pool at GroinPool.com. Once we can get listed on one or more exchanges and trading again, we will start the process of updating our coin to include masternodes. We are open to discussions on parameters that you would like to see.
I doubt they will ever reopen. But here is to hoping  I think they will as they hold a lot of people's coins and the police there would not let them simply shut down and pocket the coins. Even if they re-open just to let them let people get their coins out, they will re-open. That being said, the issue that closed them down had nothing to do with recent hacks, but with an internal theft of ETH. Time will tell, but regardless, we are actively looking for other options.....Most cost money, but we are still looking.... |

Please keep in mind as we wait for Cryptopia and pursue other exchange options, our blockchain is still moving very well with the new code and the GroinPool.com is still making regular payouts. Feel free to join the pool and start accumulating your GXG while you wait. Keep in mind the Masternodes are in our future!!!!!

Just to give all the community a general update on the status of GXG.
1) We still have no word back from Cryptopia - investigation is due to be complete in a day or two - unknown what happens then. They have our new code and we have the ability to pay them back - so we hope once they come up so will GXG.
2) We are actively pursuing listing on other exchanges. They all cost money and all take time.
3) Our new code release and every should be running V1.2.5 now, if not - please do ASAP. Once we are listed and trading on one or more exchanges, we will start the next phase of our coin upgrades to bring Masternodes to GXG. For the time being, we will stay as PoW, but our programmer assures us that GXG (PoW) can run masternodes with no issue and is the process of doing this for another coin. We have not worked out the MN details yet, but we are always open to constructive input from the growing GXG Community.

Just a reminder to please make sure and upgrade to GXG V1.2.5. We need everyone running on this as soon as possible please. We have no word yet on when Cryptopia will be back up. At this time, we are actively pursuing other exchanges for GXG to trade on......More to come!

Been waiting for Groin coin to come back from that binge and enter into rehearsal phase. Community sings and wiggles in a thrilling dance following the return of Groin, the only coin with strong independent vision and latent lewd preferences. Groin will have two sidechains, one is for muslim world and indian residents, second is for verified Groin adepts and supporters. Likened by many literature giants to unshaved tumbleweed prancering along the dreary desert, Groin makes its way to the top of episcopalians hit by botkins disease. Excellent - LOL.....Yes we have big plans for GXG. Working on getting on a few other exchanges now besides Cryptopia. Updating all our outlets today for the new code - please upgrade ASAP. |

We are pleased to announce the release of GXG V1.2.4. There is a hard fork coming up very soon and Cryptopia has offered to let us continue trading there and we are very happy for that. Additionally, note we are actively looking at other exchanges and once we hit the fork and the blockchain is stable and we are trading GXG again, we will get started on our next upgrade that will include Masternodes for GXG!
GXG V1.2.4 has now been out for over a week and is running very well. The hard fork will occur in a few days. So it is important that everyone upgrade to this new version. Additionally, we a very aware of the situation at Cryptopia. We also have confidence, they will be back up soon and we will be out of maintenance mode when that happens. We are also looking into other exchanges as a backup and a a way of providing other options in the future for GXG. |
