1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Altcoin Project Needs New Developer on: February 04, 2014, 08:02:31 PM
Not wishing to p*ss on your idea and dreams, but, you do realise that governments have armies and some have nuclear weapons. They have these things for situations that might unstable their realms. If you think they will let altcoins change the way things have been done for the last 1,000 years then you must have a bigger army and more powerful nuclear bomb!

The fact is that altcoins are OK as long as they do not upset the apple cart, but good luck on your project and I will purchase some when they are available.

3  Economy / Gambling / A Sports Betting System For AltCoins on: February 02, 2014, 05:15:56 AM
1. Have you ever wanted to run your own sports book?

2. Have you successfully traded the sports market?

3. Would you like to realise your dream as the online equivalent of Charles K. McNeil, Arthur Bendir, Helen Vernet, William Hill, Joe Coral, Cyril Stein, Freddie Williams, or William Chandler?

4. Do you want a Bitcoin accepting website that doesn't look like a couple of students created it during their lunch break, as a school project?

If you answered yes to any of the above question then we have the solution for you.
Our Sportsbook betting system consists of a front-end web site which can be branded to your specification and allows your users to place bets on early events (pre-event) and live events (in play. The major markets (odd types) are supported: 1×2, over/under, odd/even, Asian handicap, total goals, exact score, and others.

The back office gives you all the tools to manage the users and their bets. You can arrange for your business to run within your means and to manage your risk.

You have a wide range of settings for different sport types and leagues so you can define minimal and maximal bets, move points, monitor live bets, accept them in both manual and automatic mode.
Reports are available for user historical and real time activity, financial transactions, etc.
The front-end web site’s graphics can be easily re-branded though modification of style sheets and provision of customized graphics. So your business will be fully reflecting your brand and the market you are aiming at.

The system can be easily integrated with external tools, such as Micro-gaming API for instant casino games, payment processing APIs (e.g. Paypal, altcoin wallets), and odds feed providers.

The system handles multiple languages and currencies and has a built-in content management module so that you can update promotions and articles on the web site in a simple and intuitive way.

The front-end web site is implemented in pure html and thus requires no plugins and can run on tablets, including Android devices and iPads, making it user friendly for all the latest devices that are on or coming to the market.

The price is dependent on whether you want to accept normal currency as well as altcoins. But you will be looking into the region of 45BTC (£22,000) plus extra for support if needed.

5  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I need your creativity for 2 minutes PLEASE on: January 20, 2014, 08:25:30 PM
I've decided its time to give back.

I have lurked quietly in the shadows of bitcoin for quite some time now, and i have came to realize that its about time i give something back to the bitcoin community. I have decided to use half my bitcoin ( about 3,300 coins ) to form a self funded organization with the sole purpose of helping to spread information about bitcoin to the world through mass media, local "troops" or small groups, a website, blog, billboards, magazine ad's, TV. and whatever else 3,300 bitcoins will afford me.

I AM NOT, WILL NEVER, HAVE NO INTEREST, AND WILL REFUSE ANY SORT OF DONATIONS. I have seen what happens when someone mentions taking donations in bitcoin first hand so please do not even bother asking, that is not what this thread is for.

What i do need, is someone to help me find a name for it. Seeing as the bitcoin foundation is already taken, i dont know where to go. Although i am very creative in terms of Media, graphic design, website design, and animation. I have absolutely 0 creativity when it comes to picking a name. 2 days now and i have scribbled down a page and a half of garbage names. I need any and all help i can get in picking a name so i can file the papers to incorporate.

Things i would like to see in the name;

1: The word Bitcoin, in its whole, people who dont know what bitcoin for sure do not know what a BTC is. so something like ________ Bitcoin, or Bitcoin __________
2: something simple to remember, I.E. if i put a web address on billboards down every major highway, i want the url to be easy to remember until the driver gets home.
3: something formal sounding that implies it is a non profit bitcoin organization.
4: Something original, i want it to be unique, not a spin off of a name someone is already using.

I know that not a single one of you really has a reason to help me, but i also know that there are some amazingly creative people on this forum, so rather than make up a bunch of convincing garbage to try and plea for help, i am just going to ask as nicely as i can.........

Please if you can spare me just 2 minutes of your creative mind i would be forever truly grateful.

Bitcoin-R-Us.....i'll get my coat
