Marry christmas.

My favorite altcoin is DOGE, because it's awesome and because that Dog looks cute.. and because they use Comic Sans MS and no one complained about it yet.
2  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bfgminer w/ opencl - Error -55: Enqueueing kernel onto command queue. (clEnq on: December 24, 2013, 11:37:37 AM
I had this problem aswell.
The error -55 translates to "CL_INVALID_WORK_ITEM_SIZE" , which basically means that the work size is too big.
You can reduce the worksize to 128 or 64 by appending "-w 128" to your command line :
Code:
bfgminer -S opencl:auto --scrypt -o http://[::1]:9332 -u xxxx -p yyyy [color=red]-w 128[/color]

This worked for me.

Happy mining and merry christmas!
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New doge miner on: December 22, 2013, 03:34:42 PM
Hey,

Doge miner reporting in!
I am quite new  in mining but I've read much about it.
First I've tried to mine bitcoins with my (quite old) hardware, without much success. I also had a (irl) chat with some insiders, they told me that bitcoin mining only makes sense when you've got tons of ASICs and GPUs.
so I tried dogecoin, because I like doge. I've also successfully mined some dogecoins already Cheesy

Hey..

I could bite my own butt...
I already heared something about bitcoins in 2009, too. First, I thought its like a joke, a proof of concept thing that would never be worth anything.
Then, in 2013 this currency became so popular.. I know someone irl who is now a millionaire because he was such a nerd and started investing in bitcoins early enough.
If there would be a possibility to travel time backwards, I would use it to invest in bitcoins  early enough  Cheesy

Post-Scriptum & Off Topic:
This is actually my second post, this site just began to glitch around a bit after I pressed the "post" button, showing me a database error. My Post , of course, hadn't been posted, but after reposting, it showed me that I already posted something.  Angry dat ddos?
