1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin puzzle transaction ~32 BTC prize to who solves it on: February 25, 2025, 10:42:52 PM
I am running Bitcrack on my 3070. The most I can get out of it so far is just under a billion keys/second. Do ya'll think this the best it can do or could it be improved with better settings or better software? I'm using -b 256 -t 256 -p 512, I've tried a few other variations but it never got any better than this.

Wondering if anyone can help me with this.

Just curious - how long would it take for the average household desktop computer now in 2025 to get through 50% of the keys for puzzle 67?

I want to know to better explain this puzzle to my family/friends.

Thanks!!

For a decent CPU around 200 million years, for an average GPU maybe a couple thousand years.

I have never used GPU for puzzle searching.
Only keyhunt, I like it and I enjoy playing with the "spaces".

Question... with a GPU system is it possible to search for multiple public addresses together or just one?
do software that use GPU accept a .txt file like the one generated by keysubtracter?

Yes, I did multiple with Bitcrack but there is a bug in the code that causes an error if you use more than 15 addresses in your text file. There is a proposed solution to the bug that has to be fixed before building and maybe that will work for more than 15 but I haven't tried.

Bears failing to take us lower, strong will to buy in the low 50’000’s. Soon time to break out of this range to new ATH’s. Diamond hands guys, diamond hands.

It worked for GME so maybe it will for BTC cause the CME bitcoin futures are expiring the end of this week.
Remember what happened when they did the last time?

Normally, one reads all of the text, then responds to the conclusion.
The idea could be presented as thesis, then antithesis, then synthesis.
Check on those concepts. This is reading comprehension 101.
Instead, you are slicing each individual phrase, which makes no sense whatsoever, unless  you are either a computer program or you did not receive education pass the elementary school (it is OK if this is the case, you achieved a lot, was right on bitcoin and accumulated wealth, but it would explain many things in your posts).

Additionally, presenting someone's idea, then disagreeing with the idea means that you did not agree with the idea, don't you think?

He's got the ass burgers

I bought more calls so naturally its get to the choppa time. what a joke
How about you buy some, hodl it some, and call it a month?

they expire on Friday, but it's not a huge deal. I have a lot of btc hodled so maybe I should have hedged with puts or something. I'm completely exposed on the downside.

Don't forget those loans have an origination fee also. Maybe lose 3% right off the bat.

You're probably right. This ponzi is running out of greater fools. Those rich guys are too smart to touch it and our would be fools are buying NFT hot potatoes and endless defi tokens.

I know this is just a joke but this joke is getting to repetitive and tiresome.

True, we all know there's a sucker born every minute so greater fools are actually a renewable resource
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 17, 2021, 05:42:25 PM
I'm not gambling with my whole stack. I've been writing contracts which I think is a little less risky than buying them. Worst comes to worst I'm buying coins above their market value or selling them under. I'll still have about 5 btc if we can't turn this dead cat bounce into a live dog jump by Friday.
