I've seen and played a lot of virtual reality since 2016. I love how game developers use the virtual reality technology to integrate it on so many games. this is the continuation of my previous question, with regard to use linux rather than window, now i have successfully downloaded linux ubuntu 15. but i cannot connect with Wifi, how can linux configure with my Wifi? any help will be appreciatted.

It depends on your reasons why you want to switch on linux?
If your reasons is about using a wallet I suggest you to stay using windows because it easy to use and supports many bitcoin wallet than a linux OS.
Or do you have other concern? hope that you can add more info about your question so that we can give you a proper answer.

Turning off all Microsoft's data collection in Windows is not easy these days (this affects Win 7 & 8 as well as 10 from what I've heard). Windows is pretty much a security/privacy problem by design these days. Figuring out who they're sharing your data with from the T's & C's is probably a lost cause.
OTOH, you've gotta be pretty determined if you want to start using Linux permanently. My suggestion would be to wait til you can afford a new computer, then run Linux on 1 machine and Windows on the other (there's always going to be a reason to stick with what you know while you figure out the transition).
But if you can do that, you're going to have way more control over your computer using Linux than is possible with Windows (and it's only set to get worse apparently). Just stay away RedHat/Fedora tech (which is a Microsoft sponsored Linux company that works pretty hard to screw up Linux)

Virtual Box is a software, that allows to emulate a PC within your PC. It is extremly useful for development, e.g. having Mac OSX and then get it Linux or OPenBSD installed inside Virtual Box. Inside this operating system you can then play with many different tools or wallets, and best thing is you can have several virtual machines in parallel, so you can even setup your own little data center, to verify communication between systems. VirtualBox is software that simulates a computer's physical hardware. You can install any operating system you want onto it. People often install windows onto it, then install new untrusted software to test it. Any virus in the new software theoretically remains safely quarantined in virtualbox's simulated computer, although there are some caveats.
If you intend to use virtualbox for virus protection first research how to configure it, and check out all its caveats.

Virtual Box is a virtualization application. Navigate to the running OS (Operating System) inside the OS. Suppose our computer already has Linux, then we will find various servers such as Windows or 2003. So that we do not bother, use virtualization applications. You can run other OS like normal apps. This is shell script, Shell has many version and first line of code "#!/bin/<shell type> is to tell to which type of shell is used to execute that script. The most famous shell are korn shell (ksh) and bash shell (shell). Although unix scripts can execute in all shells but some commands (very small list) are very specific to that shell type so we need to give shell type in accordance. Otherwise "#" is used to comment in unix (if it is not first line in script and it is first character of that line). thank you very much that was helpfull |

Microsoft VP will become CEO of Github. Is this a attack against open source or Microsoft embracing it and wanting to bring it into the mainstream? Personally I think microsoft coders use it so much, like constantly, and Bill Gates doesn't want to feel like he is playing second fiddle. Also they want Github to be able to be used for non open source projects in addition to open source projects, and they don't want another entity controlling their secret data.
