 It should come as no surprise that China is trying to alleviate its financial burden added on by U.S. trade tariffs. As a result of these trade-wars, we've seen China buying bullion. That's right, tons of gold, literally! Data released by the People's Bank of China reported that May was the "sixth month straight" where China bought and added gold to their stockpile. RT reported: "Last month, the central bank raised its bullion reserves to 61.61 million ounces from 61.10 million in the previous month. As of the end of May, the nation's stockpile was valued at $79.83 billion compared to $78.35 billion a month earlier. In tonnage terms that marks an increase of 15.86 tons, after almost 58 tons of gold were added over the five months through April." "In May, the country's total foreign exchange reserves, the world's largest, reportedly edged 0.2 percent, or $6 billion higher, reaching $3.101 trillion. The increase shifted the expectations of analysts polled by Reuters, who projected the reserves to drop by five billion to $3.090 trillion." China is "diversifying its bullion and foreign currency holdings amid the protracted trade dispute with the US." RT also reported: Chinese authorities are seeking 'determined diversification' away from US dollar assets, according to Helen Lau, an analyst at Argonaut Securities, as quoted by Bloomberg. The expert expects China to buy 150 tons of gold by the end of the current year.  These actions continue to show that precious metals, especially gold, are superior even during a financial trade war between two superpowers. This should speak volumes not only to how important gold is, but how important it will continue to be in the future. Fiat currency is no match for gold, nor will it ever be.  Gold is shining brightly while the U.S. Dollar dims... While the world leaders met at the G20 summit in Argentina, the U.S. and China have agreed on a 90-day hold where they would not impose more trade tariffs on each other. This is great news for gold and not so much for the U.S. Dollar. According to CNBC, this agreement "encouraged investors to sell the dollar, making gold cheaper for holders of other currencies." CNBC reported: 'The tariffs (agreement) is a game changer for gold because you are seeing much better commodity statements, buying power ...,' said George Gero, managing director at RBC Wealth Management. As gold has been keeping steady and strengthening, the U.S. Dollar began to weaken. Interestingly enough, China seems to be doing a bit better in this deal since the Yuan was even bolstered. Kitco reported: The U.S. dollar index is weaker as secondary world currencies were boosted Monday, including the Chinese yuan, on the U.S.-China truce. That’s a bullish outside market force for the metals markets. There are notions a U.S.-China trade agreement would lessen demand for the safe-haven greenback. The figures... The Economic Times reported: US gold futures were up 0.2 per cent at $1,228.1 per ounce. The dollar index, which measures the greenback against a basket of six major currencies, was down about 0.2 per cent. Business Day reported: Spot gold rose 0.7 % to $1,230.81/oz at 10.15am GMT, having touched its highest level since November 7 at $1,232.22 earlier in the session. Now that we have a relief in that regard this could provide some more upside for gold in the short term,' Julius Baer's Menke said. The intention is to be more energy and time efficient. This will save on overall costs, and will be more transaction-friendly to the consumer. Blocks will be produced through a process called minting. In decentralized systems, there are multiple nodes on the network producing blocks. An algorithm needs to be in place to reach consensus on which block is added to the network. Without a consensus algorithm in place, nodes will keep forking the blockchain in favor of its own blockchain. This results in either a completely centralized system or a useless distributed network.  An analyst of the global financial system who is based in the UK, Ann Pettifor, predicted the 2008 economic collapse that affected the entire planet back in 2006. Will Crypto Mining Become Obsolete? News reports have come out stating that crypto mining is phasing out and graphics card sales are proving that to be true. When bitcoin was booming, graphics cards were being bought like they were going out of style. Companies such as Nvidia and AMD were raking in higher profits with higher prices on graphics cards due to the demand. ARS Technica reported: Nvidia reported its financial results for its second fiscal quarter, which ended on July 29. The results were pretty good overall, with strong demands for Nvidia products for AI and data center applications. However, cryptocurrency-related demand has cratered. 'Our revenue outlook had anticipated cryptocurrency-specific products declining to approximately $100 million,' said Nvidia CFO Colette Kress. 'Actual crypto-specific product revenue was $18 million.' The company isn't counting on any more cryptocurrency-related sales in the future, either. 'We now expect a negligible contribution going forward,' Kress added. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang echoed that sentiment. 'We're projecting no crypto mining going forward,' he said. The same has been reported for AMD as they have seen their sales decrease. On a good note, graphics cards will now be more reasonably priced. You are speculating too much in the name of God. But, gold does not belong to God, but to the devil. I do not consider you a preacher. Do not abuse this. You can not refer to the divine essence of money, because it is not so.
What are we abusing exactly, Fu.Sin? If you re-read the Haggai scripture posted above, you will see whom the Gold and Silver belongs to. Haggai 2:8 "The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, declares the LORD of hosts." Without money, the people of planet Earth would probably sit around all day and just do nothing.
