Is it possible to compare the code of a program with an entry in your blockchain?
I ask this question because i don't know if there is a way to be sure a program is disclosing the entirety of its code when asked to identify itself.
If there is a way it means it would be easy to make anti viruses run on this blockchain? Even identify robots?

still comparing drk to any coin that comes to your simple mind? i listened to youmother, sold my cloak and made 0.2 btc in 3 months instead of 2 at the peek...not something to be proud of but again, you should mute yourself. Keep it at 2000 Hal for masternode. Heavy investment deserves reward and if you change it people like myself will get pissed. I'm still in this because of the possibility of masternode rewards. Once you set this up with rewards, a lot of 2000 investors will hold causing price to go up. Supply and demand people.. come on. Make the wallet stupid easy for your average user to become a masternode, non of this change this, add that, at said file. Make the wallet so you can push a button and boom your a masternode or have it default to being masternode when someone hits 2000 hal. No one wants to put lines of information in a file. Maybe put some cool animations showing the process and bam! The price shall rise  Heavy investment? Are you talking about your 200$ investment? With 2000 HAL, you let room for max 800 masternodes ( and 0 simple users left) and with 400 masternodes only half of money supply is "liquid". So I guess it's far from the ideal decentralized solution we're talking about. Now I understand that for now it's ok and it gives the incentive to hoard your coins. But what about greater level of anonymity and decentralization? + if only half were required, you could still set up 2 masternodes and collect the same fees so don't worry bro |

In the infographic describing the mixing process, Bob is dealing with nearby peer Halcyon wallets. Are these the masternodes ? Same question for every step of the graphic.

I traded cloak on may and june and decided to keep my profits in cloak, so now i hold 700 of them. I did so because i was pretty sure the price was going to increase and I wanted to see what the project was all about and if the dev team could deliver. Now I'm pretty pissed off I didn't dump my small bag at 300k. I saw it drop to 180-200k but thought this was only a natural correction and that I had lost my chance to sell and buy back lower for a small profit. Then I went on vacation for 2 weeks and now I'm back reading about failed audit & possible scam and I can only tell you this : I don't know if dev team will be able to implement a trustless solution but this thread is so full of fucking morons ! You should pay your respects to Skyvalley who told you about the upcoming correction and to yourmother for bashing this coin the way he does. NO ONE has been able to counter argue yourmother and all he says looks so rational to me. And I smile with every one of their posts and with all the losers trying to put them on their "ignore list". As for DRK I have to ask you : where the hell do you come from? Isn't this the first coin that promised ANON tech? Show your respects ! You missed the train and went all-in CLOAK? So stupid ! All who believed in ANON tech have invested heavily in DRK and after a couple of months, when other plausible competitors appeared, they diversified their portfolio. Betting on ANON tech without holding at least a small share in DRK is so cute...I really don't care if DRK or CLOAK or MONERO will be the winner as I have few of them all (XC I care because I don't  ). But reading all these losers talking shit about DRK instead of talking about CLOAK's own problems makes me wanna vomit. All we can do now is to cross our fingers and hope that dev team will still deliver something in the upcoming weeks (deliver to cloak instead of creating a new coin with no history). And instead of reading +1 at every little ann, or people shouting "FUD FUD" or crying about price I really would like to see someone answer correctly to yourmother because with every stupid answer of yours, people like me believe less and less in the future of this coin. |

Yeah i don't get the need for Anon coins. Surely creating something that promotes or enables criminal behavior puts a negative spin on the coin and hinder it's real world acceptance by merchants. Bitcoin has been trying for ages to shake it's dodgy roots. I think once people realise that an Anon coin is nothing more than a 'cool' thing and has no real use to 95% of people it will disappear.
come on people, it's not because you support fluttercoin that you should spit on darkcoin (or other anon coins).... World black market > 10*Bitcoin Marketcap, and it's certainly much more than 10 times. Having a real use for 5% of the population is soooooooooo terrific as altcurrencies aren't even used by 0.01% of the world population... + don't forget that a big part of the crypto population are libertarians, anarchists or just liberals that care about the anonymity side of cryptocurrencies. For them, more anonymity means higher value. So no, the anon trend IS NOT like the country trend... That being said, I'm happy that fluttercoin doesn't take this path. We want to be legal and accepted by millions of merchants ! |

for the previously purely altruistic protein folders, there is only incentive to sell
buying curecoin doesn't support protein folding or scientific research except in a stretch of the imagination that a higher priced curecoin helps donations (more selling)

if it's worth only 2 satoshi nobody would fold because they wouldn't recoup their electricity costs so yes, people have to buy the coin to support folding they would have to, but why would they as with all coins, miners are dumping the coin on exchanges, and now we have new protein folders dumping coins it is not uncommon to see a coin's price fall out of sync with base costs so I get the concept behind curecoin, but what supports the price ? some coins have price support by requiring coins to be held for ongoing perks, essentially removing coins from circulation. other coins have other forms of utility here we have some kind of merge mining protein folding, a somewhat interesting distribution method for coins between cpu/gpu and sha256 asics, but nothing that makes it seem stable so now altruism has been further thinned out between protein folding AND supporting the currency (so that others can cash out). When I was reading the OP I was looking for that "AHA!" moment to see how the protein folders contribute to the curecoin price, just like how the curecoin financial incentive contributes to more hash rate for the protein folding... to create a feedback loop. But this doesn't exist. just off the top of my head, maybe to contribute to protein folding cpu/gpu holders need to own X amount of curecoin. In turn they'll get the folding points or whatever as well as more curecoin. Obviously this idea isn't refined, and flawed because cpu/gpu holders are the least likely to be able to have value to exchange for the coin, compared to the expensive ASIC owners.. but the concept is that the extra perk of the coin requires removing some of the coin from circulation, improving scarcity and price and WORTH. I guess that in the future projects that need computing power will have to compete (maybe by paying the devs). It's said that other scientific projects can be easily added. Maybe there will be many? Or maybe there will be many curecoins for many projects? Anyway by selling or purchasing the coin, private firm/labs will be able to control the points their project is receiving. I think it's easier than renting machines or just waiting for altruist minds. For that same purpose, these firms will have the incentive to promote the coin and could propose services paid in curecoin. |

How many confirms does your wallet show? No wallet, i send them to mintpal. 60mins for 10 confirmations? How lucky you have to be for that to happen..? How did you send them to Mintpal if you didn't have a wallet? Anyway, yes, the confirms are verrryyy slow today. No idea why. There is crazy a lot of hash on the network, confirms should be flying. sent from poloniex...it's not like they are many more possibilities if I say not from a wallet |

Will be crashed like fuck. Short term ascension is the result of how greedy fucked one-day traders are choosing the aim relying at short set of specs: as low supply as possible, as short pow stage as possible, as more fud at launch as possible. Easy to spot the same fucking targets: BDC, DRM, BDG, XLB, VRC. Very similar or just identical specs of all documented new listed coins to be the candidates to be pumped hardly.

Look at how awesome DOGE is. It it revolutionary code? not at all. But they have got their stuff together. Their model of PR etc is revolutionary. They have a huge community, lot of cool people. They had a fricken sponsored car at NASCAR! I applaud that.
Can you implement some POT in the doge code ? It's going to be more vulnerable with asics, halving and price not following.. |
