Just checking in to say well done on getting PMC a reprieve on Poloniex...when they said they were delisting I thought it was all over!
I see you guys have big plans for a way forward have you settled on anything in particular?

I'm not sure what is for the best but it would be a shame for the PMC to get lost in a sea of crapcoins.
Has the developer been on recently? What does he think?

Well, sorted by volume we are still coin 33 from the bottom, and I don't think he will delist 33 coins at once. But you are right we need to keep up the buying pressure. I got ~125PMC with 1mhs with little less than 4 days of hashing in total. If everyone puts some hashes to the pool, there will be sufficient buying pressure. We could also groupbuy one of those new 60mhs or 75mhs miners, and point them to the hashcows pool  Phew, that's a relief. I've been mining at hascows for a couple of days now. I probably average about 400khs and have got between 15-17 PMCs a day so far..so that seems to roughly fit with your stats. |

Poor volume today.... probably due to XBC ( essentially just like PMC only 53,000 coins total )
Mass hype around XBC..... AND no AUR to take the wind out of it's sails like what happened to us....
WE need to keep mining PMC folks!
And perhaps we should consider a hard fork to POS....

~35 PMC/day with 1 mh so far @hashcows  THIS will raise the price... eventually.... we have to suffer a lot of dumping from all the large cold wallet guys... but this will raise it eventually... I've signed up too...I don't have 1mh so it will be interesting to see what the little guy can get. It's great to have another way to get PMC, now the giveaways are over, other than trading as I don't have much BTC so buying wasn't really an option Also wanted to say thanks kbroadfoot, you (and others) have put a huge amount of effort into keeping PMC going - much appreciated. |

Well I got some so I'm pleased. Plus you'd expect with a rare coin for the amount for sale to start diminishing....I was surprised the sale side stayed so stable for so long. |

Can someone explain to me how or what these are for someone who really does not quite get it?
I would like to know that too. Me too! Also is anyone getting minimum sell levels? In otherwords you go to sell something but it says it must be above 0.001 BTC total? |

So frustrating it would probably take less than a bitcoin to get PMC up to a reasonable level again, no really big sell orders on Poloniex at all......just need some momentum.

I just wish we could get the guy with the 20k sell order on Poloniex to take it down, it just makes any kind of buyin look so unappealing.
Anyone know who it is? One of y'all?

how do u "mine" a premined coin? Same as all of the other coins, only rather than getting a block reward of ie: 50 coins, you get transaction fees instead. PMC is mined with any regular Bitcoin miner. what is the current price The current price at Poloniex is 0.00025 BTC varying between .0003 and 0002 today. It has been over .001 in the past ( the usual initial pump and dump ) But this coin is unusual in that there are no more coins... they are all 'out there'. So there is a solid bottom ( maybe .0002 ) and the rest is up to the community. We are working hard to bring awareness to the coin... The developer gave every coin away... 100 percent of them... He then bought back from the exchanges himself... No PMC was 'held back'. However there are some quiet folks who have slowly amassed quite a few and they have not yet 'dumped' I am hoping they are behind the coin as much as I am. If not we have enough people I hope that are behind PMC enough to absorb those coins... And I think they still are, a couple of big buys in around 0.0002, combined with a couple of big sellers around 0.00022/3 forcing any new sellers to sell to those big buy walls. I wish they would stop playing with it so much, although it seems many of the coins on Poloniex are fair game, not just PMC  |

I try to buy and sell PMC.. but now i am stuck again with 1500 PMC in the exchange.
Yes it's tricky with such an unpredictable market as you have to move your buys and sells up and down with the peaks and troughs, which requires a certain amount of babysitting. When it moves too fast against you, you just have to place confidence in the maths and trade at a loss to get back in again. Or just avoid it altogether if you mainly make losses! I knew maths was going to be helpful for something. |
