Swept BTC wallet, got BCH in a sec, they were on Electron Cash for some time until i transferred them successfully to exchange.
No problems, easy, no hassle.

People who have problems are either wrong or they downloaded some bad versions.
I, of course, downloaded from official site and compared hash.

It can corrupt your data, backups... maybe sign some transaction you didn't made yourself and there goes your BTCs

get some CD/DVD bootable linux, and see will the Radeon work under it properly.
Maybe your card is faulty, or just Windows (driver).
