1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Ethereum based crypto currencies on: May 27, 2018, 10:49:02 PM
Well, most of the cryptocurrencies are ETH based. I think that the ones that build their own blockchain like Electroneum are more interesting and serious projects.
I am looking at them, because the level of execution required is much higher.

Thanks. You probably didn't read the first post though, I asked of the top Ethereum projects that people favor most Wink
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Verge on the Verge of Collapse After getting Hacked & Losing 35M XVG Coins on: May 27, 2018, 08:53:38 PM
Even if it won't collapse entirely, I realise few of us still believe that Verge will ever achieve prosperity. It's not only the second hack (which is crucial already), but also how their team handles such cases...
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC-20 tokens ? on: May 27, 2018, 08:44:10 PM
ERC20 tokens are made on the Ethereum block chain system. In the event that you make your own particular ERC20 token and it will have a similar deliver that you use to get Ethereum. Your wallet should be set up to see these tokens however. Upside is it enables anybody to make their own token. Drawback is it enables anybody to make their own tokens but Bitcoin is the best for investment because of its profit.

Then better create ERC23 tokens, as they are way superior to ERC20 but also backwards compatible.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Verge Hack (Explained) ⚡ All Details on: May 27, 2018, 08:30:58 PM
Thank you for this detailed information, I'm surprised there're no comments in this topic.

What I'm really concerned with is how poorly the Verge team handled this situation, keeping in mind that this is the second severe breach, and in both cases we got almost zero details from their team.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Asus B250 mining expert issues on: May 27, 2018, 08:08:48 PM
Hi,
when i add 4 RX580 cards, then all is ok, and the rig runs fine.
when i add a 5th RX580 card, it only shows a black screen with the cursor blinking at the top left, no BIOS messages.
Has anyone experienced and maybe have a solution for this?  do i need a special setting in the BIOS?
I am using the 4 cards in the first block of slots, have the latest BIOS and the PSU is 1500W, so will easily run it.

Also, do i "have" to connect another PSU, if I want to run more than 6 cards?
The PSU should run more at least 8, according to my calculations.

Please update us if you were able to solve this issue, this would be helpful to the community

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do White papers have any legal force? on: May 27, 2018, 07:14:28 PM
It depend on the country where the company established, in some countries where Blockchain related ICOs are legal and has legal standing, then the whitepaper have legal force. But when it doesn't I think the whitepaper just to state their legal position to the Investors.

Are there any sources you can point towards saying whitepapers might have legal force in some countries?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Do White papers have any legal force? on: May 27, 2018, 02:04:01 AM
Spent quite some time googling this and couldn't find any certain information, so decided to ask here.

Some put different Legal Disclaimers in their White Papers, some don't. Are there any sort of rules or maybe good practices you would recommend?

Hoping this will also be helpful for others! Wink

11  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks Won't Make You Rich on: May 07, 2018, 07:42:34 PM
people think they can benefit from saving money in the bank, but the interest offered by the bank is very small? it will not be worth for your money and the length of time you wait, bank is not a place to get rich mate? if you want to get rich looking for profitable commodities like bitcoin, gold or real estate

banks with low deposit percents are only needed for storing money in a safe place. in other case investing in cryptocurrency is more profitable.
Almost anything is more profitable than 0.1-1% you can make storing money in a bank account. You will be losing money actually, as inflation in the US is 3-4%. Stock market, US trasury bonds, crypto, etc - anything will be more profitable, risk will also vary though

Socrates, the greatest greek philosopher, once said "There is only one good, knowledge, and one evil, ignorance."

Blows my mind how true this is, and still relevant nowadays
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE coin will it go beyond $1, why & why not? on: May 03, 2018, 06:18:14 AM
The coin supply of doge is too huge. For doge to reach $1, there must be some major adoption of doge worldwide and many users are buying doge. Perhaps it will happen when BTC is worth few hundred thousands.
I do not even understand why people are so naive and try to explain why one should expect great prospects from the dog. Well, if there is no good demand for a coin, then no one will buy it. This is the law of the market.

Perhaps because it got really high once, and also people don't really want to think themselves at least for a little bit to understand that a project that was CREATED as a joke can't possibly have any bright future
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which exchanges are you mostly trusted? on: May 03, 2018, 05:39:56 AM
Depends on what coins you're planning on buying
I like binance a lot overall, however they don't have lots of new coins
