Cent is dead. Catman gives a fuck. Tanx for losing 100 btc monney
Oh come on. Appreciate everybody's effort here, especially Catman's. He singlehandedly pulled CENT out of the gutter. Sure, there is still a fork, but at least CENT is back into the spotlight. .. and if you really invested 100BTC into CENT.. then you could probably afford such a risk.

EDIT: I have issued a support ticket to Cryptsy that they look into whether they are running the current wallet, I have yet to get any of my CENT to show in deposits....good thing I still have Bter. Great, could you keep us updated on your ticket? I was about to make a ticket myself, but I don't want to flood the support desk with similar questions. Thx!

i have the same problem, that i had send 1 or 100 cent to cryptsy, its show up after a few min, but sent 10000 or 900,000,000 cent to cryptsy, there did not show up. besides that, why there is shown different cents number when i use different wallet client(10.0 and 10.2), but same wallent.dat?
Seems no problem if you send CENTs from old transaction (before 8 Jan). But if you send new generated trans. (after 8 Jan) there is a problem. You can check that by choosing inputs before sending Cents to Cryptsy. I'm also having issues with sending to a Cryptsy address (latest wallet), A small transfer worked perfectly (<100), but a larger one (approx 50k) dissappeared. Both did get thousands of confirmations, but the bigger one did not show up at Cryptsy. Now what? Is there something I personally can do? Or do we need to wait for another wallet update? I'm getting confused by the talks about forking, chains.. an address is an address, right?

if someone buy Saturn from me i will give away 68,000 EAC (1000 each) for the first 68 people who will post "NO TO GAMBLING AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL".
I'm glad I got in early. Mining is no fun anymore for simple folks with a 50+ difficulty But I'm impressed with this community. EAC will be big in 2014. Oh, and: NO TO GAMBLING AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL eoxJNY6BTyiaMArUCyJvynGdkKwxTDYCtL Thanks all!

I understand OP's statement, and I would agree to warn new crypto-fans to invest heavily in new coins. The risks are just too high to bet serious money. On the other hand -- if you have the time and/or money to spend -- it's fun! I'm playing around with a bit of cash I can lose.. and it's fun to be part of budding crypto-communities.
Despite all the big ambitions, don't take alts too seriously. If one or more alts make it to the mainstream, just be sure you have a wallet full of those silly coins :-)

I've just discovered EAC, and I'm hooked. I'm mining, I'm recommending it to friends, and feel excited to be part of the early community. LONG LIVE EAC!
Not sure if I qualify for the giveaway, but I would surely appreciate a donation. eoxJNY6BTyiaMArUCyJvynGdkKwxTDYCtL
Thanks a lot, and keep up the good work! -drg.

I'm mining earthcoin at Coinium.org. My user name is Lorren (very creative, right?). I have to say, I don't know what to think about your server yet... I left to go to Zoolights and was mining for hours... have quite a few valid blocks... yet my balance still says zero. Not sure if it's because the pool has had some really bad luck or not. Just my constructive criticism. I'll keep an eye on the pool to see how it goes.
Just chiming in. I'm in the same boat. Mining for hours, lots of accepted blocks, but no deposits/payout. Can anyone explain what is going on? Bad luck, bugs or something else? Thx!

Hi guys, what do you think about alt coins like QRK and Earth?
It seems that a lot of people don't trust QRK. Supposedly largely premined and controlled. Personally, I just don't really believe all the QRK hype, and I the value hasn't risen significantly over the past weeks, so low on my interest-list. Earthcoin looks promising. I like the ideas, I like the enthusiasm, I like the coin-design Also, EAC is a LiteCoin descendant. It will be interesting to see what the value does once it hits exchanges. EAC has a high difficulty, so that might be an indicator for a quickly rising value and a fast uptake by the community.
