This question is being asked over and over again, and I understand the concern, but: If you bought ETH as a trader, then you should know your entry and exit points. If you have bought ETH believing in the technology then HOLD.

Maybe you should be watching out for the volume, because less transactions actually mean less volatility. And I also agree with the theory that says once the daily traders are out (by fear or major price changes) the price corrects itself

It will definitely increase trading volumes. I believe most people whom have not invested in cryptocurrency are afraid to invest or trade into cryptocurrency because they believe that if they do, they might end up been scammed by some exchange owners or ICO developers. But with regulation, things might work out a better, cause ICO developers or exchange CEO will be held responsibe for any scam or hack.
This is the most optimistic way to see it, on the other side of the spectrum people are saying that it will decrease for the exact same reason. that investors that were attracted by the decentralization will quite the game.

The whole concept of BTC and blockchain was created to make sure that no one controls the technology.

As usual, if the people want something, they will get it in one way or another. The Chinese ban didn't stop Chinese crypto entusiasts from particiapting in the market. The Telegram ban won't stop the Russians.
I couldn't agree more, and although the ban's effects will probably show at first it will fade soon enough.

I'm a bit more optimistic. With regards to ICOs, more regulations should be able to weed out those that were set up with the intent to scam people. This would increase overall investor confidence in the market, which might encourage them to put in more money. Since the legit projects get more share of attention - and funds, it also increase the likelihood that they'd succeed.
As you said this is the optimistic point of view and I most agree with it. But hoping the regulations won't kill all ICOs.

Knowledge and patience are required. Do not buy BTC or any traded instruments unless you have sufficient background and knowledge of the position you are opening: short or long.

It can increase the trust and even help, but the current regulations (or attempts) are damaging the crypto reputation more than anything else. In another hand, accepting to be regulated may lost the credibility of any project.
In terms of trading volumes, in my opinion it will be just related to what I was saying above. If more trust are put in cryptos, more people will buy, so more volumes and so higher prices.
In your opinion, how can people trust crypto?

worldwide regulatory bodies are looking to set legal guide rules to regulate crypto markets which will limit ICO. Do you think that this will increase the size of crypto markets since it will increase trust, or would it decrease the size of crypto since the number of ICO will go down

Etherium is good but you shouldn't buy it with all your money. Please try to diversify your portfolio

I think the market is building a new base and its not an easy thing to do with all the speculators and daily traders. New comers dont know how to hold their positions and fear the market - they follow the news not the trend

I will go with ETH since currently ETH price is lower and most of the coins in the markets is ERC20 or maybe EOS

My current goal is to have my business succeed and go through all the challenges

Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general are secure... The concept of decentralization is in itself the solution to hacking, and this is why it is faced with so much resistance from the centralized agencies (the old banking system). They want to apply a new concept to the old school they know. The fear factor your family is talking about is part of the evolution of the currency, same as when we switched to credit cards or online banking.
