We're already at block 20270. When will the updated wallets be released? And please have a Windows Qt wallet ready this time...

Can anyone please tell me how to compile a wallet Qt for windows? I have both Windows and Linux, but I don't know how to configure the compiler to compile for Windows
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We have Subforums! on: January 02, 2014, 09:54:56 PM
I think pool announcements should go in the Mining subforum, just to keep things organized, as in if I want to see what new altcoins are announced, I wouldn't have to visually filter the threads marked [ANN] into altcoins and pools.
Or maybe the Announcements subforum should have a guideline to say: Altcoin announcement threads should be tagged [ALT] while pool announcements should be tagged [POOL], if pool announcements were to be posted in the Announcements subforum.

Hello BCT Community!
I've been on this forum for a while, and here I am making my first post. I've been into cryptocurrencies for like two months now (after I stopped for almost two years when I first knew Bitcoin, and it was around $5-$10 a coin).
I just want to say that this forum is being trashed by too many shitcoins, and unless the mods do something about it - preferably purge all the existing shitcoin threads and commercialize the creation of a new Altcoin thread, where the announcement of an altcoin should be preceded by a payment, so only those who mean serious business are qualified and altcoins can grow instead of being trashed each day by 5 new shitcoins... - this forum would be ravaged by noobs and scammers who just want to make a quick buck with an overhyped coin.

I would really like to see this happen, and this could make cryptocurrencies the real currencies of the future, not just another oversaturation of an opensource idea...
