Hello all.
As you are all aware we the Velocitycoin team made the original QQCoin for a client.
At the time we were to be paid in two intervals, one before release and one after release. We never did receive the second payment and the client disappeared before he was able to get all the passwords for the servers, github, websites, social media etc.
When this was abandoned we felt obliged to come help and put a lot of BTC up to buy and a lot of time and BTC into QQC. This move was pointless. The community now is based on nothing but more than profit and dumping at the expense of growth.
This project cost us in excess of 20 BTC until this point.
We have no plans to continue support in the development and growth of this coin.
We are willing to hand over the thread, accounts, webhosting, social media accounts and anything to do with QQC to the right person.
Sorry for the delay but we really dont have any more BTC to piss up a wall.

Altcoin Forums-Need someone to be proactive in the english forums i.e. cryptocointalk.org, altcointalk etc promoting and ensuring current qqc info is accurate. Someone to ensure this is done throughout the Chinese community officially would be great. I know we have a strong backing. They can then relate any updates needed to the Chinese site or information. Apps-These may take a while to get around to. There are great free tools out there if someone wants to have a go or is capable of doing it themselves. SEOWe have paid for various SEO already and have launched another small campaign. If you think you could help simple things like re-tweeting links to the forums and websites, sharing facebook posts would be great. Quality links from websites to both the website and forums would be fantastic. Forums Upgrade. Yes we have a forum but it would be great if we could get a custom skin done to reflect the current logo. If you know smf please contact me. Social MediaI will get onto this more ensuring all information is relayed as it happens and make sure any questions via twitter are answered as quickly as possible. Thanks for updating the thread title and post #1  I pressed upload for the sites, upload to the forums and for some reason the front post I forgot. Its been all updated now. I am working on some promo videos. Any help from the community here would be great. Why is this coin still only on coinedup? Coinedup is ok, but it's so fucking slow...
check again I can see only coinedup. Check the first post and the website. Allcoin.com is no option. You'd have to pay 3times more than on coinedup to buy a small amount... Now added to OP |

QQC contests added in Just An Arcade. Win upto 10000 QQC. You will need cubepoints to join the contests. Each cubepoint costs 10 QQC. Pay the contest fee with your cubepoints the first time and play any number of times till the contest ends. Each cubepoint costs 10 QQC. Go to JustAnArcade Forum where you can find the QQC address to send the payment. Make a payment in multiples of 10 QQC based on your requirement and post your transaction ID in the forum and you will get your cubepoints within 6 to 8 hours normally much earlier. Get the highest score and you can win 10000 QQC. Minimum of 15 players are needed to make this contest valid. If less than 15 players play this contest, the contest will become invalid after the contest end date and cubepoints will be returned to your account which can be used for future contests. Once you have enough cubepoints in your account, click on the Join Contest button. After you see the success message, click on the Play Contest button and start playing. I am not estimating anything regarding my message, I am just saying the reality of what will happen. On 9th of February, 4:33pm GMT, QQcoin n-factor will change from 9 to 10. This means that N will become 2048 and the memory will be 256 Kb (from 128 Kb). Your fast videocards will be lowering their speed by a lot .. but also all network speed will decrease. It doesn't mean that you will necessarily get lesser coins with mining at lower speed, but CPU's will become more efficient as they have more RAM and they will still be able to do high intensity. Depending on CPU/GPU ratio on the network, the guys with many CPU's will see an increase in revenue as the balance will tilt slowly at each N-factor change, in their favor. You might want to jump on mining with your CPU's also as it might be more profitable than other coins .. but unfortunately, your GPU's will certainly become less profitable compared to CPU's at what was happening at N-factor of 9. Think about the new N-factor change that will come on 21th of February, it will be N-factor 11 and the memory needed will be 512 Kb I will tell you that at N-factor of 11 by my calculations a Radeon HD 7950 will output only 120 Kh/sec in scrypt-jane. At N-factor of 12, same card will output 45 Kh/sec only. N-factor 12 is on March 30 5:38am GMT.Good luck everyone .. scrypt-jane is the future, it is ASIC proof, I foresee that they will become the next generation of mining so investment in these types of coins has better future than other coins, but not for the short term. I expect that chinese people that will figure out these things will heavily invest in these coins and slowly it will increase in value, maybe 10 times. That is why I'm happy it is cheap as of now, and as I get more BTC from my big farm, I put all of it in QQcoin. Very good observation and this is why we invested in the current Scrypt Jane. A few quick questions answered regarding security with people wondering about quick blocks times etc. The answer... QQCoin is a POS coin resistant to a 51% attack. An attacker would need 51% of coins and hash.
The short block times are offset by the 50 confirmations on mined blocks. We have the ability to checkpoint in the future if need be but the chain has been solid without issue since launch. New client has been pushed to github https://github.com/qqcoin/qqcoinThis includes new logo, wallet on logo, updated checkpoints, cpu mining checkbox(see point above) and various other fixes. Those who want to can download and compile off github. I will release the client shortly. I am also giving the website a massive update so once its finished please let me know any issues. The Chinese website is done but now needs to be updated to current info. I am looking for some community made and funded promotional videos, so if you think you can, please let it be known and contribute. We have some new services to come online in the near future.  |
