Approved by the TrueChain Manangment Foundation, Mr. Zhang Jiannan, will now take office as the new CEO of TrueChain while keeping his position as CTO. The appointment will come into effect on April 13, 2018.

Zhang Jiannan, the new CEO of TrueChain
Graduated from Oxford University with a Master’s degree of computer science, Mr. Zhang Jiannan is the technical founder of TrueChain. He has been leading the research and engineering team of TrueCha
in across the United States, India and China, striving for disruptive innovation. Through “hybrid consensus”, the technical team has been able to tackle the most fundamental problem in the field of public chain – a tradeoff between decentralization and high performance. By doing so, Truechain has brought to the world a new era of public chain based on hybrid consensus.

Shortly after Mr. Zhang Jiannan (Eric Zhang) takes office, the TrueChain core team is undergoing several repositionings.

Archit Sharma (Ren X) 
Archit Sharma (Ren X) is newly appointed as Head of Engineering Team, in charge of coordination between the technical team and the core management team on technical development.
As an expert of distributed systems, operating systems and performance engineering, Ren X is also responsible for managing the engineering team. Ren X previously worked at Red Hat and CERN, dealing with the scale development of large-scale cloud service as well as the design and development of distributed systems. Ren X is a major contributor to numerous critical open source projects and winner of several Docker Hackathons. 

Cheng Xiaoyong (James Cheng)
Appoint Cheng Xiaoyong (James Cheng) , founder of TrueChain, as Head of Global Public Relations, Institutional Investor Relations and CSO（ Chief Strategy Officer）.
Cheng Xiaoyong is the founder of TrueChain, a serial entrepreneur, member of the Chang'an Club, vice president of the Black Horse Club (2015-2016) and member of the Great Wall Club.

Liu Yan (Bryce Liu)
Mr. Liu Yan (Bryce Liu) is appointed as Director of Operations, responsible for product and business operations as well as administration & maintenance of the TrueChain community. Also, the WeChat official account for TrueChain community has changed from “Wukong”to “Bailong Horse” to better uphold the spirit of community serving.
Liu Yan has held senior positions in terms of operations and product management in a few well-known Internet companies, and has expertise in user engagement and partnership maintenance. He also designed various reputable Internet products.

James Cooper
Truechain Appoints James Cooper as Advisor on Global Investor Relations and Compliance Matters.
James Cooper is a well-known expert on intellectual property law. He serves as Professor of Law at California Western School of Law and Director of Proyecto ACCESO, a judicial technologies think tank working around Latin America for two decades. He has been a consultant for the U.S. State Department, U.S. Department of Justice, Inter-American Development Bank, Organization of American States, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He was also a member of the U.S. delegation to the World Intellectual Property Organization Advisory Committee on Enforcement.

Mr. Lin Daliang (Larry Lin)
Mr. Lin Daliang (Larry Lin) is appointed as Dean of the New-Retail and Blockchain Institute, in collaboration with Bin Ke, Alibaba's first head of new-Retail, and other partners to conduct research on the integration of blockchain and New-Retail economy.
The revised TrueChain team has declared their mission: to build a fundamental blockchain infrastructure of profound impact for the next century of business world.

Prior generations of blockchain, such as EOS, have only solved the basic problem of low Ethereum performance, while TrueChain has the potential to scale as one of the world’s first-generation public chains built on hybrid consensus. TrueChain is striving to solve the conflict between decentralization and performance, develop a secure, scalable and customer-centered public chain and its relevant product system.
