it seems like this delay is useful for those who want to buy a bitcoin at the lowest price,
but for those who are HODL and still losing in this downtrend, they may have to increase patience or if they want to continue to get profits, they may have to stop HODL and choose cutloss and resume trading.
People got greedy at some point last year, and that was what triggered this. Basically, the whales will do everything in their power and resources to make sure that those greedy ones lose hope and get tapped out eventually. The main reason we keep getting some questions right now on this forum when it comes to what is happening to the market, is because a lot of people do not understand how a market is fashioned and then since they became a victim of buying at the peak based on FOMO, they are counting their losses in dollars instead of just realizing their mistakes and making simple amendments by trying to see a good time to get in lower, but instead looking for something triggering the dumps in the market. |

I’m a newbie in trading. I want to improve my trading skills. I have heard some experienced trader said that I should learn and read more before start, and also get some experience. Trading requires a lot of patience and hard work, learn about the way to analyze the price chart, when they can be able to analyze price chart they will know the best time to buy and sell and know which one is the best coin to trade…
I tried one but I falied. There is something I don’t know? Please tell me more.
Trading is difficult and it is not meant for everyone, especially if you don’t have money to trade. I have seen some people who borrowed money just to trade but that’s a very bad idea. If you don’t he money to trade, then you should forget about it and focus on something else till you think you’re ready for it. Maybe you can use all the time you were raising money to be studying it till you’re ready. |

Honestly the war can continue only for so long, there is no way the war can go on for another whole year or something. Also they have a limited number of bitcoins and other stuff in their possesion. Even if Craig has 1 million bitcoin like everyone says, he can sell ALL of it and destroy the market but its still a finite number of bitcoin and it will be finished after he sells it all which means there would be no more 1 million bitcoin sold and we would start to go up without worrying about someone selling a lot of bitcoins all at once. The problem will still be there for roger ver and his crew because they are mining bitcoin constantly and not only they are making money from the mining rewards but also the transaction fee's go to their mining as well. So I don't know what will happen in the next couple weeks but I know on the long run we are fine. |

Personally, i would go with the cryptos which are less way than a dollar per token/coin.
Incase there is an up trend like one that happened in late 2017, be very certain to make thousands to millions of dollars depending on your initial investment. I would mostly look at coins/Tokens that haven't yet shown their full potential since they entered the market during the bearish period and include a few old coins too.
The new entrants would include:
- Pundi
- TRON
- VeChain
- Zilliqa
- Holo Token
The old players would be
- NEM
- XRP
- Cardano
The only coin I will agree with you based on the list you have just made is XRP. I don’t know about the others and I don’t trust coins I know nothing about. XRP is cheap and it has been around for long time and moved from the lowest position to being the third best coin in the market. I won’t be surprised if it beats Ethereum soon. That coin is worth putting some money in it. |

Any possible reason for such a difference on bitcoin price between bitfinex and coinbase? Right now around $100 difference https://coinalyze.net/ ... It happened sometimes in this ways and the arbitrage traders always take the advantage of this to make some profit from the market. I don't think anything serious is happening somewhere that is making price behave the way it does across exchangess but with time we would see corrections. Some anonymous exchanges show higher price but still people do not trust then at all. I myself don’t care about the price difference between the exchanges and always select best exchange for my transactions because it is a matter of money and everyone should use only reliable exchange for coin transaction. Otherwise they may be scammed by some exchanges. |

I beg to disagree with this thread's title. There does not seem to be any conclusive evidence that younger people take up the gabling addiction more than they did in the past. No evidence whatsoever.
The thread of the title just shared the title of the article that was given to us. They've done research with it so its just up to you if you are going to believe it or not. I don't agree. I always see more elderly. people in casinos.
Elderly that has already their retirement and they have been enjoying their lives through gambling. I have seen those type of people too but the young ones doesn't understand that they shouldn't become addicted to gambling. And they don't have the capacity to support their addictions unlike the elderly. In casinos definitely you will see senior persons but in online gambling you will never see elders. There you will see only youngsters because old people are fond of physical casinos and they not only gamble but also meet their friends and spend time in pleasant atmosphere. On the other hand young people always gamble online gambling from their home. |

It is possible to cross more than $20k but how long it is going to take nobody don't know because the market situation and from the news makes the piece of bitcoin more stable. It is a very good sign for bitcoin to hold them as long as possible to increase the price.
The possibility of returning to that price certainly still exists, moreover the development of bitcoin is still going on. but we don't know when it will happen because price changes are influenced by many things, we dont know what will come in the future, all we do is believe and wait.. Yeah it is right that time is not guaranteed when it will cross $20k. I also hope that the future of bitcoin is good and gradually the price will rise more and more but it is possible if we trust and believe bitcoin and invest in it and also convince more and more people to put their money in bitcoin for to earn some money for free if the price goes high in the future. Yeah you are right, may it cross $20k and even reach $30k in the future. It depends upon the acceptance and regulation of bitcoin in all over the world, and also the use of bitcoin. If we use our bitcoin in the markets more and more people will come to know about bitcoin and will take interest in it because of its unique features and benefits. Just wait a little more. |

I see from your experience and I think you are a very lucky person because you are just starting out on gambling but on the other hand you are like a master in gambling. I think it's not only luck that you have but on the other hand indirectly with what you do, that is by fear of losing money you have, it indirectly you already have a great strategy in gambling. That was a very awesome story, imagine a beginners having a good luck that leads to a very profitable moment at that time. Well, I guess you are luckily at that time and probably that scenario will won't happen again. Even me, I didn't ever win in gambling so far either online or in the casino. Well, as OP's said to try to limit himself that is a good decision don't gamble all your money. However, set aside in your pocket for your daily needs and set amount that you can afford if ever you've lost in gambling. The first thing in my mind after hearing the word beginners luck is only luck and nothing else. When you realize that you are new to gambling you should never play games of skills and tactics. You will never win those games. You should always play dice games, ludo because these games mostly depend upon luck and this is the only thing that beginners have. Gambling is a fun and I think that a beginner should learn gambling techniques and tactics before starting gambling. If he becomes an expert gambler and also lucky then definitely he will win the game easily, but in sports betting he will only depend on his luck. I can't even post 5 "promising" cryptocurrencies. Beside Bitcoin, I am using only 2-3 altcoins, because I believe in the potential of the projects, the technology used and the team behind. I am not looking for pump and dump coin, I plan for the long term usually. Such things happen to any person. And you should not be so upset about it. If you seriously decide to engage in trading, then you need to get used very carefully and every day to monitor changes in the exchange rate.
It is not all about luck but your experience (that is practical experience) which counts a lot represents your knowledge that will play a key role in the success of crypto trading. If you have no practical experience then it will be quite difficult for you to deal with any crypto trading for the first time. therefore, you should begin with less valuable coins so as if it is loss then it will not be a big loss and you will learn more from it that will help you out in future. |

I think a good altcoint to hold for a long time is Ethereum, this coint is altcoint the best among the other altcoints, and I'm sure ethereum will be able to survive for a long time because of the advantages it has

No doubt bitcoin is the top currency and holding is profitable, but here the question is about Altcoin, and I think that there are two coins which are my favorite for long term investment, Ethereum and ripple. The price didn’t fall, I believe it was corrected. So if I were you, buying ETH now is not a bad idea. If you buy now, there are chances that the price will rise in future and you will make profit from it. And as for ICO, despite everything that is happening now, you can still invest your money. We have just few months left to wrap up this year, so how the market is going to be afterwards is only going to be known in time, but as far as I am concerned now, the only thing we can do is to just be patient. We may speculate this will happen or not, but at the same time, whatever happens eventually will be based on a lot of conditions none of us can really foresee, so what is the point, trying to predict the future or the price of a market in the future. |

I was questioned on crypto currencies legalization. I explained the facts happening around. Few received it with convincing reactions and few just ignored it. I really felt bad for the guys who did not care about crypto currencies as I really know the fruitfulness? I happily taught few others about crypto currencies. What was your friends expression when you introduced bitcoin to them?
Every people has a different perception about cryptocurrency. Most of the people are afraid of using crypto because they thought it was a scam,others has no patience doing task in crypto that's why sometimes people i offered crypto ignored me or sometimes they didn't believe me. All my friends give good response about cryptocurrency investment, rather most of my friends already touched with crypto world in some extent. When I take to those friends who are unaware of bitcoin and cryptocurrency take interest because it is a matter of money and money is needed to everyone. To see the reaction of the people in my community I am sure that the future of bitcoin will be shining. |

Yes alot of new exchange come in to crypto market now, i can compared in 3 years ago its only about 20 to 30 exchange that operated. But since 2017 untill now the number of the crypto exchange is growth. I think they have seen successfully of Binance that earned alot of money. Just in 1 years Binance has amillion user, and offer some good product to the customer. The important for all exchange is they should manage the exchange just like Binance did, and expand to others country to introduce the product and while to promote advantages of crypto and blockchain technology.
And I am pretty sure as we keep forging ahead; the number of exchanges will keep growing in number the more. We can certainly see so many projects springing up already which revolve around the whole exchange thing and that makes up for a lot of the bullshit we have in the past regarding exchanges and I am sure it would really hint each exchange that as long as they are not the only ones on board, they have to be able to keep up with their game to stay relevant. |

This a story from a long time ago. But whenever a country ban crypto currency, then the people of that country will immedietly sell off thier holdings increasing the supply of coins in the market and plummeting the price in effect. That is always a bad news for all of us. But I'm pretty sure people will pick it up since it's so cheap.
Even the china will ban bitcoins in their country still I think that people there will hold BTCs there because if the government is unaware about the fame and popularity of BTCs, I am sure the people wouldn’t act like that because they know about a well and secure future of BTCs ahead. And if they become panic and sell out their BTCs, I know people all over the world would instantly buy them. |

The reason why there has been a serious insurge of people into cryptocurrency mostly populated by newbies and novices is because someone somewhere told them they can make 100% to 500% in crypto within few days, lol but how many really had such experience.
The worst still is that some don't even think learning is necessary in the crypto market, and so they just invest their money in crypto and manage to know how to open and close a trade, and as soon as any candlestick chart turns red they dash their coins into the market in fear to cut off more loss and the cycle continues till nothing is left.
If you are doing this at the moment just quit crypto trading its not for you.
100% I use hold method is effective and safe investment method. I rarely put money to trading in the day or short-term trading. To be able to trade effectively, I need to take trading courses taught by famous traders It is up to everyone that which method suit them, go for that. Don’t just adopt something over advice from your friend or senior or college or anyone else. Rather if they advise you to go for some option, better is to search about that. This is very irrelevant because the long term investment is not for panic selling and not to consider as short term because there are currencies which are favorable for long term and Bitcoin is the part of long term investment. If you are investing in Bitcoin in a low market then you must be waiting for long term and could get the profit but you did a mistake and sold out. Foolish decision leads you towards loss and pushes you in difficult situations and problems and make troubles for you. This is due to your carelessness if you are not making right decisions which will definitely make troubles for you. You still time in order to recover your previous loss and in order to get huge profit, so invest in this current market which is favorable for people and never make such mistakes again. |
