1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Music Video on: February 12, 2014, 09:49:33 PM
I'm looking for photos and videos of you guys, to make a bitcoin promotion music video.
I got permission from a AAA+ Band to make a Independent Bitcoin promoting music video.

Now i don't want videos of people destroying something but rather videos of you enjoying your life related to bitcoins.
Please post your video with your Nick/Name/Whatever and i'll include you in the credits.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / New to Bitcoin? Start here! <-- please add known issues to it on: February 12, 2014, 08:44:13 PM
Please add some of these to this sticky (or make another sticky):
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Weaknesses
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Common_Vulnerabilities_and_Exposures

Maybe some smart people will notice and start working on it.
We should make bounties for unsolved problems in the bitcoin protocol. I would pay 0.1 if someone has a resolution for the current malleability bug.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BEWARE: More Coinbase Phishing on: February 12, 2014, 08:35:16 PM
is your transaction a phishing attempt?

I did not make a transaction. If you click on the link (it is a google url shortened link) I believe it takes you to a fake coinbase site where once you log in the attacker captures your credentials and if you do not have 2FA enabled your account is compromised.

Woah this is well done, more people need to be aware of this..

SOMEONE POST THIS ON REDDIT.

EDIT: DONE

Don't be afraid, you run a casino. You should notice scam when you see it.

Did you check the temperature? Try a lower intensity setting.
Also I think you can remove these lines if you use sgminer:
"gpu-memdiff" : "0",
"gpu-powertune" : "0",
"gpu-vddc" : "0.000",
"vectors" : "1",
"shaders" : "0",
"scrypt" : true,

Sounds neat! Is it possible to connect to my own IRC server? Can you change pools on the fly?

I've noticed a failed transaction on my earnings page. It's a very small amount of CSC, the transaction field is empty and status says "failed".
What happens with those transactions?

Edit: One more question, you said "We have web servers in the USA and Europe"
Where are the Stratum servers located?

Why can i setup a Wallet address for every coin when you only payout in btc?

We only payout in BTC in the sense that we hold your BTC from autotrading your coins. We offer direct deposit for all altcoins if you don't want to auto trade them.

I'm not sure if i understand correctly...
On your FAQ it says "Note: We currently only payout to BTC wallets"

I'm not able to set a payout Threshold for any coin. So what happens if i disable the Auto-Trade option for a coin?
When will it get paid to my wallet? Will every round get paid directly to my wallet? The transaction fees will be high that way.

I'll modify the FAQ so its more clear. You set a threshold only on BTC because that is the only coin we will hold that is yours, since we generate it from auto trading. If you disable the auto trade option for a coin it will directly deposit your earnings to your address (if you set an address for that alt coin). After every round it will deposit those coins to your wallet. There are no transactions fees. The only transaction fees that exist are for BTC which is .0005

makes sense, very cool!
