I believe everyone has been manually payed out at btb.scrypthp.com. I will be closing the website down in a couple weeks, please PM me if you still require a manual withdrawal. I've kept a record of all accounts which I'll store for at least a few months in case anyone still needs their BTB. Best of luck to everyone here, it was a good experience and I'll continue to hold some BTB long term. My apologies to everyone who was delayed their withdrawal.

Auroracoin is doing awesome in my opinion. The price has now stabilized, it has great potential to increase in value and mining has been great since the fixes about a month ago. It has an active developer who conducted a transparent distribution and there's a good community of people here. My pool has a strong base of miners, many of who have been here almost from the start - http://aur.scrypthp.comObviously it would be nice if the price was higher but it's stable at a price point that is viable for market use. If there continues to be market adoption in Iceland and elsewhere, the value will naturally increase.

After checking my saved passwords from my browser, I know that I have logged in earlier with just username and now the site requires to log in with e-mail address. There's the reason I can't log in anymore. Might also be that I have not added my e-mail address at all or just invented some address at registration...
Correct, you now have to log in with your email address at http://btb.scrypthp.com - if you send me your username I can check what the associated email address is. Unfortunately you won't be able to reset your password if you don't have access to the email. I'm sure there's a way for me to change the email address on the back end but I'll have to figure it out if you need me to.

http://btb.scrypthp.com - Please check your spam folder for the password reset email if needed. It turns out the port was changed for mining, please edit your miner batch files to use port 3333 and you'll be able to connect up. I've changed the withdrawal fee to 0.0002. Looks like we're finally getting back to normal!

I'm migrating hardware at http://btb.scrypthp.com - the website is currently down however mining is still functional.

1% fee pool http://aur.scrypthp.com - mpos on fast, secure servers. Everything is running smoothly with this coin, we need vendors in iceland to accept the coin and an android app as the next step which i believe are both in progress. The airdrop in my opinion has exceeded expectations. The future looks bright for Auroracoin!

Anyone else getting trouble login into scrypthp.com? I just started mining a bit, and now I can't get in. Still have some BTB there. they seem to be working now, thanks. Please feel free to message me directly here on bitcointalk in the future if you notice any problems with this pool. Happy mining!

Well now this is over with. Took some time for KGW to normalize, since the previous blocks had such extreme blocktimes. A lot of blocks mined in the process.
Thanks to the miners who stuck with AUR.
And thanks to you Balduro for all your hard work! We found block 5401 at http://aur.scrypthp.com so looks like things are on track!

the "icelander should cpu-mine idea" is a drop in the bucket, I think. not enough hashing power.
paying for scrypt hashing power could work (either outright or using bounties for pools to find blocks < 5400).
The problem is: we're driving away the icelandic noobs who must think this coin is broken (which it is... confirmation times in the range of days can be called "broken", like banking system) or this crypto-stuff just doesn't work.. must be a fad.
Hmm.. Maybe the hashing power itself is not much, but encouraging ppl to solo mine would make them (us?) a community: "I can help, it is we against the greedy mean multipool miners" and more aware of the crypto coin functionality in general. It would also point out the real reasons for slow transactions (not enought mining power) to the major public. And they might surprise us.. who knows how many miners there would be in the end? Anyway, a few difficult days now won't be a catastrophe, unless the problems stays for a longer time. We have a pretty stable user base at http://aur.scrypthp.com that have stuck through thick and thin. Ive done some btc giveaways when things got really tough. Please feel free to join and show your support for auroracoin. Ive been mining there myself nonstop for months as I believe in this coin.

did you check if the coins moved from any of the accounts listed where the premined coins are?
Yeah was about to say, how do you expect coins to be distributed without being moved. They have in fact being moved from the first address listed in the first post ok we just want to be sure i think it's great that people are active, and are watching something like this.. it's the first time in history, and there were so many scam coins to this day :\ i just hope, this will be a success.. wish balduro (and others involved) only the best Agreed, they've been very transparent and everything is looking great. Looking forward to a successful distribution!
