Besides this security and reliablitiy concerns investors are faced with an overwhelmingly large choice of different cryptocurrencies.
Public media excessively report over these issues and new potential market participants get too scared to do first investments. On the other hand there is the average Bob who belongs to the believers but has little to zero experience. He tries to find a way for making the right decisions by looking for someone to guide him through this journey. There are plenty of people and sources for this. Youtube, Twitter, reddit,.... The big issue here, you never know how much the informations are worth and if the actor has malicious intentions. Maybe the Youtube god the novice trader is following isn't as good as he says, maybe he has hidden motivations like sponsors dictating his information, maybe he aims at creating fud or fomo to buy or sell....
