1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russian Ministry Of Finance Considers Allowing Crypto Trading on: June 24, 2019, 02:27:35 AM
Honestly, Bitcoin looks fairly unstoppable at this point (until the whales dump it into oblivion). If crypto is the future, then Bitcoin will survive as a form of digital gold. I know ppl say "bitcoin can't be silenced", but if it gets banned everywhere, then the price will never rise to what some believe it could be worth.

Article - https://tipestry.com/topics/5d0f091e8902d3702176037e/russian-ministry-of-finance-considers-allowing-cryptocurrency-trading

Bitcoin should implement some form of Privacy to handle situations like this stupidity man. It is totally stoppable in it's current form. ESP the mining
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is WolfpackBot better than CryptoHopper as a trading bot? Is WOLF a buy? on: June 02, 2019, 05:11:40 AM
You already admitted that you are a noob, then why are you using bots to trade? Chances are, bots parameter settings will completely overwhelm you. So I suggest that you learn trading first because buying bots. Bots still needs human intervention(that's you) so if you feed him wrong parameters then it might not give you profits in the end and then you all blame it on the bots. Grin

Some people put there strats up online that work; maybe thats my best bet then is to use the strats people are willing to share that really work? Smiley thanks for the advice though. I really dont wanna wind up totally emptied out
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is WolfpackBot better than CryptoHopper as a trading bot? Is WOLF a buy? on: June 02, 2019, 04:05:50 AM
I have been trying to determine a good trading bot to use to increase my crypto stack slowly over time and a couple youtube videos pointed out Wolfpackbot was something worth looking into; I see mixed results from people on here about the projects Coinomics but I would be buying mainly to trade. My paper trading with their paperbot is doing alright with their default scalping settings (around .5% a day gained)

https://www.wolfpackbot.com/

Wouldn't the Coinomics work out if the bot needs to be paid in their WOLF coin and the bot performs well? It seems like just hodling it then would be a solid move too; or mining it? It is a dash fork after all.

I studied Cryptohopper a little but everyone said it isn't anywhere near as flexible; but is it better for a trading bot noob like me?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could Tipestry replace the Hated Gab Dissenter because of Crypto integrated tips on: May 06, 2019, 03:09:57 AM
I do miss YikYak but their Tipcoin isnt why i would use it. Really just to post things about websites and maybe tip some other cryptos.

Open your mind up a bit; imagine you and your friends want to be able to comment on websites that dont allow commenting or heavily filter it; imagine tipping being like tipping gold on REDDIT except the PEOPLE actually get the tip not reddit. It's a great idea it just seems different. Crypto enhances the project nicely. Tipcoin could be a great altcoin
Wow, I am so surprised that I haven't heard of this platform till yet, this is unlike me because I love to check out for new project in the crypto that has a good future and great potential.

Well, I will not just jump into conclusion that the project is a good one to invest in until I make my research on it because I have lost a lot of money to so many project in the crypto space and I am not ready to loss more funds to anymore project that always works well for a while and we later begin to see the true nature of the project.

This product currently requires no investment its just a platform that functions without need of purchasing.

I don't know if Any of you Have any Tipcoin from Tipestry.com or play around with the TipestryGo app or anything; But I have been really thinking it's something that could help Crypto become more noticed by the mainstream; and be useful to set up as a crypto influencer to receive tips and payments etc.

Basically it lets you leave a comment on any website via extension/website and be tipped in cryptocurrency. So both free speech advocates and cryptonauts alike could gather behind it. I feel like those crowds overlap a bit anyways.

TipestryGo (which I havent spent much time with) Seems similiar to a YikYak and PokemonGo lovechild; you place comments in AR in specific locations around you and others can read and interact with them.

What do you guys think?

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Nauticus Will Continue To Gain Popularity on: March 12, 2019, 08:10:30 PM
Maybe the trader thinks that the Nauticus project has a good plan, so they think that will be a good time to buy that coin. We already see this is happening with the other coin but the reality, and it's only for temporary because after the moment is gone, the coin will be back to the bottom price again without any chance to wake up. The project needs to give proof to people if they were really serious with their project so people could still support the project for a long time. Besides that, the teams need to make sure that they will give the best value for their supporters.

Yes people speculate the rumors quite extensively in crypto; however keep in mind Nauticus is pushing several updates this month alone according to their video announcements on Facebook Telegram and Reddit.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Nauticus Will Continue To Gain Popularity on: March 12, 2019, 05:08:29 AM
We sometimes tend to give more attention to those that are already on the top, and that, of course, makes sense but If you can find a diamond in the rough getting on it at an early stage is absolutely the golden move this is my opinion personally.
Nauticus is definitely showing lots of good things. I especially love that are into STO which is the rage right now.

Finding diamonds in the rough is easier said than done though; a lot of so called diamonds go -99% and delist Roll Eyes

I luckily dont think Nauticus is one of those; but its hard to say what cryptos future will hold.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Nauticus Will Continue To Gain Popularity on: March 12, 2019, 04:36:50 AM
There were many exchanges that gained popularity and became mainstream... Nowadays Binance is 8th in marketcap, while its ICO raised just 15 millions.. By the way, did you know that ICObench rated Binance with a 2.9? all said... dont trust ICOBENCH ratings.. most are just paid shills. So to the point.. Nauticus is a very promising exchange with a core team experienced in the matter.. i wont be surprised if achieve soon a TOP 50 place in CMC!

I completely agree. Binance did a great job and I trust their exchange. They've given me 0 issues since I started using them a year ago. They got into the crypto scene before the "big boom" and did a great job of marketing their exchange. I think with exchanges that are newcomers (Nauticus) it will take a bit more time, but once the ball gets rolling it will continue to roll until they achieve their goals.

Binance is a top tier exchange with their only downside not being Beginner friendly like Nauticus is aiming to do yeah; Nauticus is going for like a Coinbase friendliness and FIAT gateway with a Binance amount of projects; and securities as the icing on the cake. They're even planning FIAT to FIAT swaps which while outside of my realm of knowledge is obviously a real world utility. I have no idea if that will influence the price of NTS or not but I can't imagine it would hurt it. Sure there's roughly 500,000,000 tokens but it's a static amount and things are looking positive price wise right now. Above ICO vs BTC positive.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Nauticus Will Continue To Gain Popularity on: March 08, 2019, 05:18:30 AM
For those of you that don't know, Nauticus is an exchange based in Australia. They were an ICO throughout the course of 2018 and raised over $17,000,000. Now, I've seen a lot of trailer trash ICO's last year and this is not one of them. The price of NTS has stabilized right around the ICO price. If the ICO was trash, then it would of fell 80% like the majority of ICO's inevitably do. I think this exchange will continue to grow in popularity and I also think NTS (their native token) will grow in price throughout the duration of 2019. If we enter another bull market, then this could be an excellent long term pick for quality gains. What do you guys think of the potential of both Nauticus and NTS? The link below will take you to the exchange, let me know if you agree with my assessment or if you feel indifferent about the project. Nauticus Exchange - https://nauticus.exchange/exchange

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I'm NOT Buying Ethereum... on: March 02, 2019, 05:42:28 PM
I have been accumulating ETH nonetheless; I still value it over the other projects mentioned like EOS; I'm also in NTS a decent amount but I consider my ETH an easily cash out asset.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why I Don't Do Bounty Campaigns & Why You Shouldn't Either on: February 23, 2019, 03:48:57 PM
Bounty campaign only profitable in 2017 and in the beginning of 2018, and after that this job not really promising good reward because too many ICO that has low quality product. So ICO market turn  in to low demand and the trend of crypto market also in bearish mode. Bounty campaign maybe profitable job again if the market back to bullish trend.
bounty campaign always be profitable thing.we didnt need spend any money and we get free money, although its amount small.compare it with ico investors, they spend much money but unfortunately they get much loss.

Free money? we are working hard for them, promoting their shitty coin for some little gain that they will give us and it's not even guaranteed. What they are having is free advertisement because they are paying us some assets that came out of thin air, probably a fork of another coin. It's not always profitable so stop spreading your bullshit here. We are working with time, electricity and effort so your claims are all false.

yeah for real Bounty work is real work for minimum benefit sometimes; Like I had said several have screwed me with dumb rules that they make up at the end or cut the amounts given if it wasnt for Nauticus paying me out I would be up shit creek
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why I Don't Do Bounty Campaigns & Why You Shouldn't Either on: February 22, 2019, 06:33:01 AM
So a few months ago I did some bounty work for a company called Swachhcoin. Like many of you, I spent countless hours developing and creating posts that highlighted key features of the platform. Fast forward several months...they tell all of us bounty campaign participants that we will have to pass KYC to receive the NEW swachhcoin tokens (SWACHH). My previous Swachhcoin tokens (SCX) are now worth $0 and I will have to do KYC to get my new usable tokens. Also, they set a monthly limit of how many tokens we can sell. We will receive 10% each month to prevent dumping. I like this idea, but NONE of this was presented during the bounty campaign period. I also bought 2 ETH worth of tokens and they've delayed the project at least 2 times! To me, this is unprofessional, ridiculous, and outlandish. Sorry for the rant, but this is the exact reason I've been slowly putting my money into projects that I think have a future. I'm trying to stay away from the bad apples and put some leftover money aside into Bitcoin, Nauticus, Ethereum, EOS, and even XRP.

Swachh totally fucked me too; luckily Nauticus did come through with their bounty campaign
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This Crypto Should See A 20% Gain Soon on: February 21, 2019, 11:06:18 PM
NTS is hovering around 800 SATS right now. I believe NTS will rise above 1000 SATS in the near future, here's why

1 - Strong support

NTS has been holding 800 SATS for the past 2 weeks. There's a high amount of buy action around that support. Resistance around 900 SATS looks fairly weak, if buyers emerge I can see NTS heading towards the 1000 SAT mark with ease.

2 - Overall Market Sentiment

Quality projects have been getting a boost lately. BTC rebounded up from $3400 and LTC has seen some positive growth within the past few weeks. NTS is also up from 500 SATS which was its January low.

3 - Further exchange enhancements/developments

The Nauticus exchange is the exchange that utilizes NTS. If Nauticus continues to grow, then NTS should follow suit. The Nauticus exchange has made huge strides in the past month to enhance their exchange's capabilities. I think these enhancements will continue to help the NTS price.

4 - Buy orders vs Sell orders

If you analyze this chart (https://nauticus.exchange/exchange/NTSBTC) it's pretty easy to see the buy orders are overwhelming the sell orders. An order book doesn't necessarily determine the trend, but it can serve as a strong sign

What do you guys think based on my analyses?

In the current state of the market I am just accumulating NTS without doing much trading anymore; I buy around 600 sats and then it pumps every single time/
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2 Reasons Noobs Fail At Trading on: February 13, 2019, 08:56:28 PM
Some shit happen always come to me went i was using Stop Lose, every goddamn my crypto hit the price i set for the stop lose. after that the price was backup again, i need to set it up correctly.

Thats the most annoying thing in the damn world hahaha; thats why I usually set mine a little lower than I am comfortable with; still though Nauticus not having this is a hassle and a half. Angry
16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2 Reasons Noobs Fail At Trading on: February 13, 2019, 08:25:22 PM
Full time trading with crypto can be HARD! However, a lot of new traders fail due to two fundamental flaws.

1 - Not utilizing discounted trading platforms or functions

2 - Not utilizing stop losses (or setting stop losses in the wrong spots)

Determining where Bitcoin will go hasn't been hard. Determining where Bitcoin will go from a neutral market...now that's a different animal. If you're bullish on a certain crypto always use a stop loss. Look for points of resistance and support, then set your stop losses accordingly. If you are trading and "scalping" your trades, you need to make sure you are paying little to no trading fees. Coinbase pro allows "makers" to pay $0 in fees (limit buy and sell orders). Nauticus is new and offers 99% discounts on all trades atm https://nauticus.exchange/exchange/NTSBTC . Binance allows you to use BNB and receive discounts for it. This isn't rocket science tho guys. Learn how to short, when to open bullish positions, and don't get destroyed by fees from the bigger sites  Grin

Forgetting stop losses has totally screwed me multiple times. Nauticus really needs to put all those features on their website. I heard theyre coming though.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Name Some Quality Exchanges? on: February 13, 2019, 02:32:58 AM
I only use 2 exchanges right now which are Nauticus and Binance. Coinbase ripped me off last year and Kraken has tons of issues. What do you guys think of Nauticus and Binance? Do you guys think these are good exchanges that have a quality project?
I can't say a lot about binance because it's the best exchange site in the world but about nauticus and for me im not interested with it and consider latoken as a better option rather than nauticus.
Latoken can be the next big exchange consider the team is very solid.

I think Nauticus is more of a gamble on their future potential; which is fine but for now I just buy NTS on there obviously

LATOKEN tried to scam me out of 120k tokens valued at half a cent each once so I stopped going there.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Name Some Quality Exchanges? on: February 12, 2019, 07:12:29 PM

Coinbase is still my FIAT gateway until Nauticus adds USD;
Binance is my sh#tcoin playground
Nauticus is what I use for arb and NTS buying.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To Tell If An ICO Is Legitimate Or Not on: February 11, 2019, 03:12:23 AM
Steps:
Step 1 - Wait
Step 2 - Wait some more
Step 3 - Wait until the ICO releases
Step 4 - Watch the price and wait until it stabilizes
Step 5 - Decide if you want to buy

Why is this concept so hard for people to understand? Out of all the ICO's that were successful last year, I can think of maybe 3 that rose above ICO price after they released. Those 3 are GRIN, Nauticus, and the BTT (BitTorrent). That's about it, meaning if you guys invested in these other projects you probably lost some of your money. Why wouldn't you wait to see if the price decreases? Maybe the project doesn't even release! Now you're out a ton of money with no coins...not a wise choice guys. Patience is a virtue!

Projects Mentioned:
GRIN -https://grin-tech.org/
Nauticus - https://nauticus.exchange/exchange/
BTT - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bittorrent/

Not going to lie; this can still fail really easy as any of these projects could exit scam or give up on their tokens at any time. There's varying levels of risk although crypto is a very high risk area. I highly doubt Nauticus would do that Nor GRIN. But BTT could easily bolt with the cash.
The difference being Nauticus is an exchange that is registered; GRIN is decentralized; BTT couldve been a very quick cash grab
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Fiat on-ramps Help Nauticus's NTS token Moon? on: February 09, 2019, 01:13:37 PM
Depends, fiat on ramps can be a good or bad thing. good means that it might moon the coin, bad means more regulation so harder to moon. And i dont think that the australian government is too keen to let a random cryptocurrency to get fiat-on-ramps

Nauticus is registered with AUSTRAC so that isn't an issue

and also I get it bleeds BTC's market cap but theres better things than BTC in some sense and BTC is becoming a store of value

BTC has no real use cases anymore. I believe it has first movers advantage and will continue to be a store of value. As far as Nauticus do you know what types of fiat currencies they’re adding?

BTCs use cases can increase if they update the network; and as far as I know USD EUR JPY and others are planned to be added. USD this quarter.
