Of course kids can learn fast and totally understand how money works. And they can understand even more naturally how the response to the money monster is cryptocurrencies.

It is not up to us to judge if the kid will show it to their friends or not... His father probably knows what he is doing.

I know this is an amanzinly old topic, but i think it is a shame that not much people paid attetion to it. I believe bitcoin and lets were made for each other. Actually, without bitcoin a LETS system would never be able to exchange its currency to a foreign one.
I cant acces the links posted here, which is sad because i am actually really interested in providing a solution to strengthen  the economy of eco villages, agriculture based communities and so on.


So.... I dont think i have to create a new topic to ask it. I assume that if anyone here knows what LETs stands for and have something to contribute towards an hybridization of blockchain and local exchange systems will contribute.

Olá pessoal! Trabalho com uma associação aqui no Porto chamada Espaço Compasso e queremos fazer a primeira edição de um evento chamado LoveTalks. É uma espécie de TEDx menos elitizada.

Gostaria de saber se há alguém a trabalhar ativamente de alguma área das crypto moedas e teria interesse em dar uma palestra sobre o assunto. Temos uma sala onde podemos acomodar até 50 pessoas com projetor.


Acho que dentro desse contexto em que temos uma alternativa ao sistema financeiro  só será possível implementar a mudança se falarmos sobre o assunto publicamente. E temos que falar MUITO sobre o assunto.

As associações culturais são uma boa porta de entrada para este tipo de debate.

Se alguém fora do porto quiser vir pode ser muito interessante também, estamos abertos!
