i have tried walletrecoveryservices and he couldn't solve it, so i guess i have nothing to loose.

Unfortunately no, and at this point I'm willing to give out my seed to anyone if they promise to send half back if they can recover the coins. I feel it's better than letting the coins sit there.

Hi, you still have this problem?
|
|
|
Ok thats good, It rules out the possibility of sending to the wrong address. did you try the other suggestions, using both the new seed and old seed on iancoleman, with a different derivation path.
|
|
|
Were you able to get the coins back?

Sorry HCP, i just read it now, i didn't use a passphrase, i'm sure of it, i would remember.

Xynerise, that is exactly what happened to me EXACTLY!!!! what can be the problem and how can i use the extended public key to find the address, the extended public key is YPUB NOT XPUB and i haven't found any program that supports segwit extended public key, please i am not good with python or scripting so no suggestion regarding writing a script for me. I can give the pub to anyone who can help me check for it.

You guys still don't get it, irregardless of the trezor i should be able to restore my seed in another wallet but it still doesn't work, honestly i don't care if the trezor messed up the update i just want my funds back, maybe i am using a wrong derivation path. Someone give me something i can do other than contact trezor support page, i have the right seed and that should count for something, i have only used the device twice and its just a month old.

Thanks HCP, for the reply, it can't be in a change address, because my understanding is you have to spend from the address then the rest goes to a change address. I am very sure it is the right seed, i did the initial trezor test and rested and got the same first address. I also thought of the possibility of another coin path and i tried litecoin because i have heard some trezors giving litecoin segwit addresses before, but it still didn't work.

Yes its a segwit address 3HZgtFDmfwohrz2cRfzSECxeszpEzJqiYY. i will try the btcrecover but i am 100% sure the seed words are correct.

I don't like hearing this. I just started using a Trezor. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) I found this update video on youtube. You have to press both buttons on the Trezor at the same time and no seed words are used. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJpLsNMhEx4If worst comes to worst just wipe the Trezor device clean and use the seed words to restore your device. trezor already compares the first 4 letters are correct, then it's correct. i never used a passphrase.
You do have a passphrase using 1 through nine digits don't you? If not just press enter with no passphrase. wiped it like 4 times and it still the same thing.

To confirm you're using the correct seed, get the ypub (account extended public key)) from Coleman's BIP39 tool, and paste it here: https://www.blockonomics.co/ to check all the transactions on the address. It should derive a (short) list of addresses and check them for balances. I have done that, i still can't find the address. That confirms it then: the seed is a different seed Either a word or so is different, or you need to enter a BIP 39 Passphrase (when you set up the Trezor, did you insert a 25th word?) trezor already compares the first 4 letters are correct, then it's correct. i never used a passphrase.

I don't have a Trezor, so I'm just blind guessing. All longshots but maybe you haven't thought of it yet. i updated and after the update i was prompted to enter my seed, did everything well, but my balance was 0. Could it have to do with a change between native and SegWit addresses? I used the online tool iancoleman to generate up to a thousand addresses but no luck Did it show any of your other addresses used before this one? If not, did you choose the right Derivation Path? (Hopefully needless to say: you should never use this tool online!)Its a segwit address and i have used it only twice, once for test and then to send the bulk fund, so i don't have much of a history.

Hi, i'm having bit of problem here. so last month, i transferred some bitcoins from my binance account to my trezor. The money showed up all good and i closed the trezor app. Didn't check it for week and the next time i plugged in my trezor, it asked for an update, i updated and after the update i was prompted to enter my seed, did everything well, but my balance was 0. I was surprised, i went back to binance to look for the address i sent the coins to and the coins are still there, no movement and i later sent some test amounts to the address. I have been trying to figure this thing out for about 3weeks now and no luck, so i figured i should ask for help. I have tried everything i could think of: using the seed on electrum, connecting the trezor to electrum, used jaxx, exodus, everything possible but i just can't seem to find the address. I used the online tool iancoleman to generate up to a thousand addresses but no luck, i am 101% sure the seed is correct, very sure i sent it to the right address because the coins showed up in trezor before the update. i am willing to offer up to a thousand bucks for who ever helps me figure this out, thanks in advance.
