Yap, we can make this a true decentralized WEB. No more google, nsa and shit. Pure p2p.
It's a long way, but we finally have the means to achieve those things, the blockchain Wink

also one of mine was deleted... a discussion about the logo

how about making that right arrow a "B"

the "B" for Blocknet

not in a position to adjust the pic now to show what I mean

I reckon it's a 'B" already. :-)

Just needs a thin line to make it a "B" otherwise it looks like a "D" and reminds me of another coin.

I guess the "+1" replys were deleted

hey Imjim...
I'm using slack for the XC channel (not for blocknet) and I view it with my phone or my computer.
The phone app always shows me when I login the last post but a link to "# messages since last visit" so I can always see what's going on. also when a channel, group or a name notification is happening I get a notice on my phone.
When I log in into my computer It always shows me the last post since the last visit...

why did you waited for a month to post this issue, if I may ask?

for people who want to copy/paste the transaction ID instead of typing it:

Closed source, 1000XC and an application to join a secret discussion?

Sounds exactly like something an outsider would like to invest in.
the 1000XC is not mandatory for the general slack channel...
It is only needed for the "verified-xc-holders" channel.

why doubt XC would have trouble adoption...

Another big coin had it for a long time
not so long ago been opensourced

stop crying like a little baby and GTFO

DRK is open source (now) but has been a long time closed...I guess to perfect it. also DRK is older than XC
Monero still has BIG bloat Issues...

XC is just protecting code, so nobody would run off with it

edit: forgot to mention that XC REV1 is open-source. it is not trustless though

What is up? Who called me?

What's up mountaingoat! Oh yesssss...I have missed you so. We need to get this place back to its glory days, it's no fun without you here boss. Dan's busy coding, Arlyn's busy singing, Teka, well...I don't know where in the world Teka is. I'm kidding! I'm sure everyone is hard at work, and since no one is posting at XCTalk we're just going to have to make it happen here.

How many shirts did you sell Mr.Goat?

Hey you Braxx, good to see you hanging in here too...I almost blew my xc wad all over bittrex but instead used my Tantric discipline and am still holding strong.

All of you who have been here since the beginning, pay attention to what weedsmoke420 just posted. Our team has been working constantly, I have been holding and accumulating since late May, and I don't doubt for a minute that Xcurrency will deliver.

I have been around... and I will still be Smiley

FUCK the fud... XC for life Cheesy

Is there a USD/XC pair somewhere? I feel like I am being ripped off using BTC all the time. Tongue

there is a euro one...
but then you could better buy btc and then XC... but that choice is up to you

litebit.eu

edit:  just checked and there is also an USD option under "currency"

Can somebody tell me how to back up my XCurrency wallet onto a memory stick please. New to this. A step by step idiot guide would be great. I am on a mac. Much appreciated.

Copy the wallet.dat file to your memory stick. The file can be found in username\AppData\Roaming\XCurrency

edit: just saw that you have a mac. I think this path doesn't count for a mac but I'm not sure.
in windows it's very easy (don't know if yu have the same option in mac)
in the menu "file"
go to "backup wallet"
go to a specified location then save wallet.dat

it's that simple (on windows)

should we nominate Dan (or even synechist)? To clear his name... to regain his rep.
