BAIL TIME!
From Thaer:
I'd like to address a few reports regarding wallet issues, and to affirm that your MSR holdings are okay. I have taken a look today to see what might be happening, and it looks related to some edge cases regarding uncle rewards being spent where wallets aren't recognizing what is happening and are consequently failing. I haven't yet been able to reproduce this error locally (it's related to the src/wallet/wallet2.cpp:6246:"Daemon response did not include the requested real output" error that some pools and/or exchanges have reported), but will be working on it in order to resolve the problem. While I will still be maintaining the project when I can, I'm also announcing my stepping down from the title of Lead Software Developer on the project in order to better reflect my latent activity within it, but will still be leading the project. Because of time constraints in order to resolve the mentioned wallet issues, I'm actively open to financing a developer's time to resolve this problem, please reach out to me if you think you're up for the task! Best regards, Thaer

After a short holiday, Gnock will be back in action around June 1st. He should be picking up where he left off. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Is he back yet then?

can someone explain why one should buy Masari, among other cryptonote coins. What will make it valuable?
Uncle mining + blocktrain tree proposal (they're polishing the whitepaper for the later). Yeah, and just ignore the fact that 2 core members have bailed it seems (Lodo and Gnock).
Is Masari dead now? Little happening on the main project github. Assume bailed after last big payout?
Does XWP support ASICs?
If so, someone PM/DM me for deets.
Masari now has a security declaration, a requirement for some of the larger exchanges.
Development is still happening too. This shows promise.
So it's nicely pumped up now, large volume still with a flat price and bots making the books flicker.
When dump?
Yeah, this doesn't look suspicious at all...... Jesus Christ.
This is going to bomb, hard and soon.

PLEASE SPREAD YOUR HASH ACROSS POOLS.Miner.Rocks currently has over 50% of the entire Masari hash. Please consider using smaller pools and spread the load in aid of de-centralising hashing power.

It would be nice (and respectful) to give Masari a nod when you announce that you’re forking to CN-Fast.

New GUI wallet is sweet

Latest fork has been reached and surpassed ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) all looking good. A bit of a drop in nethash as a result. Should be interesting later on when the payments and exchanges get unlocked. Enjoy the ride and trade responsibly! We’re chugging along fine at http://msr.ocukminingpool.com/#

can someone help out, I get this trying to run daemon on the masari cli Error: wallet failed to connect to daemon: http://localhost:38081. Daemon either is not started or wrong port was passed. Please make sure daemon is running or change the daemon address using the 'set_daemon' command. Background refresh thread started [wallet 5mroGC (no daemon)]:
refresh does not do it either.. thnx You must run the daemon first, before starting the wallet. Run masarid.exe and let it sync up, it will notify when it's ready and you can open the wallet.

Unfortunately this is definitely looking like a timestamp attack. The sum nethash of all the pools (the real miners) is under 2Mh/s while we're seeing spikes northwards of 27Mh/s in the network. That's an extremely unhealthy ratio. Some malicious entity is virtually stealing most of the blocks.
I thought the DAA was meant to protect from this? I’ve pulled from mining because it’s completely broken, blocks are just orphaning across all pools. Bit of a disaster.

It's a shame. It was looking promising.
Off to another coin whilst Masari sorts it's shit out.

Network down to 17Mh/s from 100Mh/s in 8 hours. That's pretty damn good. which miner and config you are using?

why do the blocks stand still? very slowly
Because of the now low hashrate trying to tackle high difficulty. It's adjusting.
