You didn't get stuck, the greed prevailed. Not judging you I'm just saying. Many people did the same thing.

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CAN BLOCKCHAIN HELP AFRICA CLOSE DEVELOPMENTAL GAP WITH WEST ? on: June 10, 2018, 07:45:59 PM
when it comes to technology Africa always come last. I expect to see a lot of new project development coming from Africa with the use of blockchain, but up till now, nothing is happening. why are Africans always backward when it comes to technology?

Because they're poor and uneducated but these things often go hand in hand.
I really doubt that crypto can change anything there.
I hope I'm wrong.

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Bitcoin Futures? on: June 08, 2018, 06:11:00 PM
Hi, I was curious what your thoughts are on Bitcoin Futures. Do you think this is a positive opportunity for Bitcoin investors? Or, do you think this will thwart the growth of physical bitcoin?

I wouldn't be here if I didn't think that BTC is going to last.
We're just at the beginning of the crypto era.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CAN BLOCKCHAIN HELP AFRICA CLOSE DEVELOPMENTAL GAP WITH WEST ? on: June 08, 2018, 06:08:41 PM
With the advent of bitcoin anchored on blockchain technology, the world is obviously in the process of another revolution just like internet did. The immense benefits blockchain infrastructures offers can certainly help reduce alot of trust burden, reduce cost of processes like elections, contract executions and what have you. Do you think Africa can use this to bridge the developmental gap that exists between herself and the rest of the world especially the west?

Of course not.
The only thing that ca help them is getting rid of the corrupt politicians and working on getting the people to go to school. Education leads to prosperity. Poverty and lack of education go hand in hand.
If you want to save someone, don't give him money give him a job.

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin have more risks than benefits? on: June 04, 2018, 08:22:13 PM
Bank of Spain, in Madrid, says that the bank of cryptocurrencies, bitcoin, it's not worth it, and there are more risks than benefits. There are more innovations and they are having more effect.

What is your opinion?

I think that every investment has some risk attached to it but to say that BTC is worse than investing in something else is pure bull.
Also when you see that the bank is telling that something else is bad investment everything becomes clear when you realize that BTC and crypto are a direct competition to the banks

16  Other / Off-topic / Re: Higher education, is it so important? on: May 30, 2018, 12:38:44 AM
I think practical experience is more important than higher education.
Says someone without higher education.
If you had it you wouldn't have said that nonsense.
Practical experience is useful but it doesn't matter as much as the education.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon Will Accept Bitcoin Speculation on: May 30, 2018, 12:30:01 AM
According to a newsletter from The James Altucher Report, Amazon will soon begin accepting Bitcoin, which they will officially announce as early as October 26th during their earnings conference call.

Source: https://squawker.org/technology/breaking-amazon-will-accept-bitcoin-by-october/

If Amazon starts using it then Ebay, Ali and the rest of these services will be, in some way, forced to also accept it as a payment method and the new age for crypto will begin.
Prices would skyrocket.
I hope it happens soon.
18  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much money do you need to be absolutely satisfied? on: May 28, 2018, 08:33:25 PM
We all know, that happiness can't be bought with money and life is so much more than that.... BUT It is still so much easier and more comfortable when you have extra money and don't think where to find more every minute of your life. I'm sure each of us has a sum in mind, which will satisfy them completely, let's share it here)) I'll start

To be very-very satisfied I'll need:
- about $1000.000 to buy an apartment in New-York (love the city)
- about $200.000 to buy a cool BMW and a parking spot
- about $10.000 each year to spend on travelling
- about $4000 each month to spend on living

And that's it, not that much as you can see Wink

100k+200k+4k*12*40yrs(at least)+10k*40yrs(at least)=2.62mil
Not much you say.  Grin

Wow, this is so sad. Poor woman and that innocent kid. But I don't get it, how didn't she realize that she was bit?

8,000,000,000 people on Earth. There will be casualties. There are millions of people who live in forests and mountains or very close to the forests.

Yeah, that's true, but it does not mean it's less sad.
In this day and age dying of a snake bite is just wrong.
Governments should take better care of their people. Health care and prevention of this kind of things should be a priority.
20  Other / Off-topic / Re: 5,400,000 people bitten by snakes every year on: May 26, 2018, 09:21:48 PM
1,00,000 people are killed by snake bites each year worldwide.

A mother and her three-year-old daughter have been killed in India after the woman was bitten by a snake. Not realising she had been attacked, the woman began breastfeeding her child. Both died before they could reach a hospital. The news comes the same day as the World Health Organization declared snake bites a "global health priority". Between 81,000 and 138,000 people are killed by snake bites each year, with around half of all deaths in India.
