1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor Cg/Sgminer & ccMiner on: December 29, 2014, 10:33:39 PM
This is great. I'm a huge fan of this software. I just installed the new version and was wondering if there was a place to get the updated Awesome Profit Switching configuration, including the new Lyra2RE algo?
2  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: www.lunamine.com - 0.0025 BTC/GHs mining contracts | On-demand withdrawals on: August 15, 2014, 02:36:34 PM
OK I'll add my name to the list of those defrauded:

drmavis --> 0.47139382 BTC "invested"

These types of situations make me so frustrated - is CEX.IO the only LEGIT cloud mining service out there that isn't a ponzi/scam? Maybe Scrypt.cc too?

I like the idea of cloud mining or buying shares of expensive hardware and letting someone else with cheaper electricity manage it, but all of these scams are making me want to just order equipment myself (though they have their fair share of scams).
3  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] .0029 BTC per GH/s - 5 year contract **www.BitcoinCloudServices.com** on: July 04, 2014, 02:35:30 AM
Hi,

I bought 65 GH and am trying to figure out a way to track the returns. Would it be possible to put a link on the user account to see how much BTC has been paid out so far, either total or, even better, per contract?

Yesterday profit 5.57%, updated main post with additional info and to do list.

http://bit.ze.cx

Hi, I am giving your service a try with 0.010 BTC and will increase the amount if all goes smoothly. I have a couple of questions.

1. Are we able to check the status of our deposits and progress? Yesterday when I logged in I could not see any evidence for my deposit and am not sure if it went through and what its current value was.

2. I am having trouble logging in today with my BTC address/password that worked yesterday.

My BTC address is 172rkbZyhByDBspboQHohANiW32qJxre9V
My transaction ID from my deposit yesterday is https://blockchain.info/tx/3cb4baf714341c9bf84f927eca098990066b207446678cd819e4b76af1d130d0

Thanks

Yeah hugepages can be done - the YAM miners by yvg1900 (for MMC, PTS, etc.) use hugepages and are the fastest CPU miners for the coins it mines.
6  Economy / Securities / Re: WARNING: Crypto::stocks currently not allowing withdrawals on: June 03, 2014, 04:19:41 PM
I'm not sure what to do - I don't really trust Cryptostocks after this, but can't really get funds out because so many projects are IPO-locked and there isn't enough buyers on there to sell out at a decent rate anyhow. I hope projects look into alternative crypto stock exchanges or this spurs a developer to make a better one. Why aren't there more options for trading securities than CryptoStocks and Havelock? There are so many competing coin exchanges right now that converting one into a stock exchange would make sense.

Mandatory Wallet Update

Update to the new wallet to get past block 4258.

The source can be found here: https://github.com/slimcoin/slimcoin
The binaries can be found here: https://github.com/slimcoin/slicmoin-executable

I updated the wallet and it still seems to be at block 4258. Do we need to delete any files in our Appdata directory?

Could you post your getblocktemplate rpc command?

Hi,

Really great work on this. Would it be possible for you to add another crypto algorithm? I would love it if DCrypt could be added for Slimcoin mining. There is a fork of cpuminer called slimminer (that I can't get to compile on Windows) and it would be amazing if it could get integrated in this optimized cpuminer-multi. Will definitely donate.

Could someone please post a Win64 binary for slimminer?

I've been trying for hours to get it to compile using the instructions and can't figure out how to do it.

Alternatively, does anybody know if there is a page or walkthrough about how to compile cpuminer builds on Win64? If so I'd be happy to do it, but the instructions in the README don't seem sufficient to do it without errors.
11  Economy / Securities / Re: WARNING: Crypto::stocks currently not allowing withdrawals on: May 31, 2014, 03:01:42 AM
Anybody considering purchasing any digital assets off of crypto::stocks needs to be made aware:

DVC, LTC, and BTC wallets are supposedly offline (preventing one from withdrawing) even though it seems to be accepting dividend payments from asset owners for shares held any attempt to withdraw your coins will currently fail.

And to add to this warning, I tried to deposit 0.1 BTC to my CryptoStocks account today and it has not shown up in my account despite 10 confirmations. I submitted a support request but they administrators have not historically been very communicative.

I think with all of the exchange competition, someone needs to create a more reliable Cryptostocks exchange!

So, the responses on the experimental one are varied... not sure if I should push it.

I got somewhat poorer performance with the experimental version than the 5-29-14 version.

I have an i7-3770 and with 5-29-14 I get ~170 H/s with 4 threads and I couldn't get more than 130-140 H/s with the experimental version, trying 4-5 threads.

Has anybody had any luck with this software with the new Catalyst 14.6 beta drivers?

I just gave it a try and was initially very excited because I was getting hash rate of 4 MH/s on my 280X. Then I noticed that I was getting lots of HW hardware errors, which I had none before. No matter how much I lower the intensity (tried 11) I still get lots of HW errors. I then tried deleting the new x11modTahitiglg2tc8192w128I4.bin and restoring the old .bin file (from Catalyst 14.4) and now I get no HW errors but my hash rate isn't quite as good as it was previously.

Why would the new Catalyst drivers change the OpenCL compiling so dramatically to cause hardware errors?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New (more optimized) MRO CPUMiner [Updated 05/26/2014] on: May 26, 2014, 06:58:58 PM
Hi, is there a Windows X64 version of cpuminer-multi that has been compiled with optimizations for AVX/SSE instructions?

I find the latest one from LucasJones repo works well but I only get ~103 H/s vs. ~150 H/s I was getting on simpleminer.exe latest version. I have an i7-3770. I notice pools are moving towards only accepting stratum cpuminer so I was hoping someone had an optimized compile of cpuminer-multi.

Thanks

Hi,

I love your SoloMiner software and appreciate your hard work developing it. I'm currently mining Quazarcoin and Fantomcoin.

Would it be possible for you to compile a version that supports AVX or SSE instructions? I'm getting ~80 H/s on my i7-3770 with SoloMiner but found with the latest Monero Simpleminer it was getting closer to 150 H/s - I think the difference may be the support of the advanced instruction sets.

Thanks

What kind of hash rates are you all seeing on the latest release (5/9/14) ?

I'm getting ~9 H/s on an i7-3770 3.4Ghz, which is about half the rate I was getting on the latest Monero miner.

This is going very well but I have a suggestion:

Could you consider making it so it can combine multiple payments to the same address? This would encourage re-investment and increase deposits and prolong the game (i.e., more fees revenue for the administrator). I know it is possible because SatoshiHype somehow did it (though SatoshiHype vanished with people's money eventually so I prefer BitZuo in all other ways.

(I am still a bit irked about losing my 1st deposit income after I made a second deposit, and it is more complicated to get a multiple non-shared wallets for deposits)

Good work everyone! Keep it up.

Hi BitZuo,

I like your game and your professionalism. I think I have found one issue with the new payment system. I have done 2 deposits for the new game and after I made the second deposit, my original one stopped paying (the script didn't combine the hourly payments from the 2 deposits). Could you please take a look at this?

My address is 1VGJcgkdnKXBwepqMKeb1tAgEPBxihAme if you need to look at the blockchain to see what I mean.

Thanks,

You'll recoup your losses this time. This is gambling section, so there's always risk, but with risk you get really high profits. And we really fixed everything now.

You pocketed a large amount from your last Ponzi and stopped the payments much sooner than needed, leading to much losses.

Pay me back my BTC that I lost or at least resume payments from the old address and you can regain some of your credibility.

Everyone knows these are unsustainable for the long term but you can clearly do better.
