a quick update on things: we are very deep into our code rewriting and will likely open v2 in a few months. this will have plenty more features and alot more reliability. but until then our current system will keep on paying out. keep earning!

which script do you use? depending on the way your faucet makes those shortlinks it might make a shortlink for every user, regardless of if they click it. in cases like this you will have lots of links on your dashboard but hardly any clicks. (lots of people simply look at the faucet and dont claim). shorteners still wont count 100% views of it, but i think most will count about 70% and up. the best solution is to calculate that into your math so that you can stay in profit even when 100% arent counted.

i agree that my testing was wery wery crude and had alot of flaws. i wasnt able to accurately count how many visits i sent to each of the 2 api's individually, and i had only done this test with a single shortlink. i didnt need much more as the result was everything i needed. another variable i wasnt able to confirm is if it behaves differently if the visits come from different sites (as both visits allways came from the same domain.)

i also use dynamic links (as they allow for better tracking and are generally needed for my setup). but this could simply be an odd one in the mix.

perhaps someone who has the mostly used script or even runs a shortener can shed more light on this

allthough this is the widely known myth about it, in my recend test i asked a friend of mine (different ip, different country) to make an account on a shortener and give me their api details (we will call the shortener shortener x). so i took my friends api key and my own api key from shortener x and sent a few people to my friends api. as my friends api was second in my list  they HAD to go through my api key first, therefore any of the visitors on my friend's api previously went through mine.

after about 1 1/2 hours of testing we saw the result of 1 succesfull visit counted. the average shortlink in that place counts 10 visits per hour, so while i cant say that it doesnt accept any visits, i can reliably say there is a definite difference.

tungag's browser.history.search idea could kinda help with this, but the biggest solution would be for faucet owners to make a third party service that reliable keeps track of this on as many different faucets as possible. as this would increase earnings for everyone.

hey! i have just started using your network, i know that getting a good fillrate is hard and especially low quality traffic will be hard to monetize.

but i would like to reguest a feature: backup codes!

if there are currently no ads to fill the space it would be nice to be able to declare a backup  code (other ad networks, or even simple ref banners) as this would otherwhise simply be lost revenue. so far i am satisfied by the cpm/cpc rates, but i am struggling to find ad networks that are showing ads on all of the main banner formats, so this feature would be a godsent.

hey! so i've been playing for a bit now and noticed that the main income source is from shortlinks or "cash-links", correct (appart from the cpu miner thing, but i am talkign about how the general gameplay is funded). i havent checked recently but a week ago i found some shorteners in the rotation which didnt redirect well or were even gone from their url.
