Same here. I manged to reset the android tablet bit to default settings by removing the tape in front of the unit, press the vol + and - at the same time (the holes do not align properly, hence the tape) press power. The droid  will now enter this preboot thing, I selected return to factory settings / wipe device and the android part is back but...... There are no services running on the unit like ssh, http and https so it did not really help. I copied the files over from the other X1 to a usb stick but the 'broken' prospero has no /home/ba/ directory and won't let me create one.

Does anyone know where to get the firmware? Not too happy about this. It just bommed out and refused to boot. Nothing we done to kill it.

As a last resort, is there a way to do a nandroid backup of one machine, restore it onto the other? I guess not as the unit is not rooted and thus won't allow me to make a nandroid backup....

Als het goed is dan komt de TNT post man vandaag 2 voedingen brengen. Vorige week was een beetje short notice dus konden wij de miner niet aansluiten en Yoshi en Jake hadden geen PSU meegebracht. Met 2 nieuwe PSUs gaat het hopelijk wel goed en kunnen wij samen eens kijken wat deze unit nu werkelijk aan hashing speeds klokt.

Kleine update:

De heer Marek Skonieczny werd op 6 maart 2015 door het bestuur van de Bitcoin Embassy Amsterdam ( http://bitcoinembassy.nl/news  ) geschorst als lid ( en tevens  als bestuurslid ) en gesommeerd om voor 13 maart a.s. financieel rekening en verantwoording af te leggen van het door hem gevoerde financieel beheer, de boekhouding en administratie over te dragen, almede het eigendom en beheer van diverse domeinnamen o.a. bitcoinembassyamsterdam punt nl en bitcoinembassynl punt nl en diverse daaraan gerelateerde sociale media accounts en het terug geven  van diverse eigendommen van de Embassy.

Op 8 maart j.l. moest de Politie tot twee maal optreden om hem van het Hofje van Wijs aan de Zeedijk nr. 43 te verwijderen. Hij probeerde alls ongewenst bezoeker een bijeenkomst van de Bitcoin Embassy Amsterdam bij te wonen. De heer Marek Skonieczny tevens opererend onder de alias: "Marek Skorek scammer" ( search Google ) blijkt het met de wet en de regels van een democratische vereniging niet zo nauw te nemen.

Voort blijft hij gebruik makende van die twee domeinnamen een 'valse' website hosten onder de naam Bitcoin Embassy Amsterdam‏.

Het bestuur is druk doende de door dhr. Marek Skonieczny veroorzaakte schade te herstellen en de Bitcoin Embassy Amsterdam 2.0 opnieuw vorm te geven.

BIPS stole (or some hacker they claim) all my funds from my account. It was less than 5 USD but want it back. They keep operating as if nothing happened. If a company can not pay its debt, it should not be in business.

How do we organize a lawsuit? I don't mind spending 5000 USD to get my 5 USD back. It is a matter of principle and if we can't get our money back, we can at least kick the service into oblivion and make sure they never trade again.

It is merchants like this that give Bitcoin it's scummy reputation!
