1  Economy / Exchanges / Best exchanges for multiple currencies? on: June 08, 2018, 06:36:51 AM
Hi all,

In your experience what are the best/most flexible exchanges for a wide range of cryptocurrencies with reasonable fees.

So far I've only used Coinbase and Binance, obviously Coinbase is limited and Binance is a massive faff to get verified so what are the alternatives out there?

I'm finding it all a little confusing and would value advice from those of you who have been doing this for a while.

One exchange I've heard of where you can exchange different currencies is Localcoinswap, not open yet though but I'd love to know what you think of it and if you think it will be worthwhile, the biggest benefit for me so far is that there's no KYC needed! It will be interesting to see how they do when they launch.
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any crypto exchange platforms without fees? on: June 01, 2018, 11:38:06 AM
The Localcoinswap exchange, which is opening in August, and although not free they have a simplified fee system (the following nicked from their whitepaper)

LocalCoinSwap only charges commission to the market maker of the transaction (the trader
advertising their services on the platform). The price advertised is the price paid, without
withdrawal or deposit fees, and no other hidden charges.
For sellers who regularly engage in high volume trades, a special pro-trader status will be awarded,
conferring lower trading fees and an official ‘trusted’ banner on their profile.
Fees for trading will be set based on comparable exchanges, with the aim to match or beat the
fees offered by any competitors (currently this is 1%).
