Good morning - The tiny amount of 100,000 Nuggets are left to sell in our ICO now and the process is all but certain to complete sometime today as we are still getting a few applications through all the time. We're confident that all those who have followed DigitalGold and invested have got the amounts they wanted - this is why the daily purchase quantities have fallen sharply these last few days. Most bought in Week One, which makes perfect sense due to the price the Nuggets were at that time. Will update as soon as these last few have been sold - at that point, no more Nuggets will be available from us in this ICO and indeed never be produced. You all hold a unique cryptocurrency.

Good morning - BTC falls seem to have stabilised (at least for now) so hopefully we won't have to change the pricing for the last few Nuggets remaining in our ICO. 2) Wait for our ICO team to allocate you a unique account payment address and email you a payment invoice.

3) Send the BTC to the account address.

4) Wait for our ICO team to process your payment, prepare your SAFT documents and return them to you by email. We aim to do this within a few hours but please be patient and allow up to 24hrs as we anticipate a huge demand in the first couple of days of the ICO

5) Keep your SAFT documents very safe. We recommend using similar security as you would with private keys. One week before the GoldNet blockchain launches you will need this information to create your unique DigitalGold wallet and load it with your Nuggets

ICO Update Day Eleven:

Nuggets Remaining: 1,500,000 out of 64,000,000


Good morning - after the best news we could all have had in that our blockchain patents have been granted worldwide, we had quite a steady day in terms of applications for the ICO. A lot of applications, no massive purchases. Looking like all the investors who wanted to get in big in DigitalGold have done so, and now smaller investors are joining us as we deplete our Nugget supply. Around 500,000 sold yesterday so we now have about one and a half million out of the original sixty million that were for sale left available. We are still maintaining our original prices even in the light of the BTC decline, and the bonus Nugget rate also. Could argue this makes DigitalGold relatively even better value, but that is a value judgement for potential investors to decide. At that rate our ICO may sustain for another couple of days, but it will only take a big purchase or two to change that.

On a related note, we are now exceptionally close to our ICO target of 300 BTC (albeit they are worth less than when planned, but we can still secure the necessary funding against it, so the BTC itself is not at risk)

Major News - OUR PATENTS HAVE BEEN GRANTED!!!


Felt it appropriate to update you all as soon as we heard - our blockchain patents, which are concerned with the blockchain-based application of our unique algorithms, have now been granted worldwide!!!

This is fantastic news for all of us here at DigitalGold, and for all our ICO investors also!  It means we are now fully protected from copying of our newly discovered mathematical techniques for super fast confirmations, scaling and much much more. Following from that, we are now in a position to license our software to financial mainly, but also other, organisations with whom we have had initial soundings with. We will be initiating more formal contacts with them all as soon as the ICO is finishes.

Patent bonuses for ICO holders are now all but certain in the medium term!

We're now in the process of arranging appropriate code releases into the public domain. Our lawyer needs to dot a few i's and cross a few t's and then we will be delighted to present what we've been hard at work developing since mid 2017.

Good morning - after another steady day we sold roughly a third of the remaining Nuggets left. We are now looking to move the final 2,000,000 into the hands of DigitalGold investors! So the good news is that barring a truly massive purchase, Nuggets should still be available for the next day or so. With the recent falls in the price of bitcoin, they represent even better value for those buying bitcoin to participate. Our finance director asked if we should amend the ICO pricing after the weekend due to the sharp bitcoin price falls (as allowed under the terms our white paper) but as a group we decided strongly against it. Most Nuggets had already sold by that time, and if this gives investors who missed out on the Week One pricing and bonuses a better opportunity then good for them. Our ICO has already gone unbelievably well and swiftly, along with lots of goodwill and support from the community - we have no intention of changing that.

Good morning - nothing much to say this morning except that we had a couple of big applications yesterday along with the more regular ones, and the net result is that we now have just under 3,000,000 Nuggets remaining!  Impossible now to predict how long these will be available for - one day, perhaps two? is all we can suggest.

We will continue to process applications as we receive them, although when we get to the last million Nuggets we will ensure we don't have an excess of pending payments  that might mean an application cannot be processed due to lack of Nuggets by the time we receive the bitcoin.

ICO Update Day Nine:

Nuggets Remaining: 5,000,000 out of 64,000,000


We are now fully up to date with processing all payments made before the Week Two pricing commenced at 1600 UTC yesterday, and are now back to handling applications as normal. We had a late rush of payments, it seems steadier today so far. We are now down to just under the last 5,000,000 Nuggets. In other words, over 90% have now sold, and the vast majority of those to people obtaining Week One pricing, which is excellent. Our demand has matched supply really well - most people got the cheapest available Nuggets, yet there are still some available at a slightly higher rate for those who missed out either through lack of funds at the time or lack of awareness of DigitalGold. These are the investors who we welcome to take this final tranche of Nuggets. Or if you just want to own more then your week one purchase, again, very welcome.

We now expect a slower rate of sales and, in the absence of massive purchases distorting our projections, expect Nuggets to be available until midweek. We would reiterate that once these are sold, there are no more available at any price from us and the next time you could obtain some would be on the open market at the exchanges at market price.

Week One of the DigitalGold ICO is now complete!

We don't have the exact figures yet, but we are now focussing on processing all the payments made up to 1600 UTC, getting the SAFTs sent out and then going back to handling the applications, now at the Week Two rate of 1,500 Nuggets for 0.01 BTC, with 10% bonus Nuggets for purchase of over 10,000 Nuggets.

It looks like there will be around 5,000,000 Nuggets left once we have caught up with all our applications and processed payments, so still an opportunity for those who wish to get into DigitalGold in our ICO, or for those who wish to purchase more. We are now estimating mid-week for the Nuggets to sell out and the ICO to close.

ICO Update Day Eight

Very brief update. Down to 8M Nuggets remsining. And now into  the last hours before the price of Nuggets increases. We are seeing a big increase in applications the last few hours - you're leaving it late if you want to get the week one pricing. We will do our very best to proceed applications right up until the 1600 cut off point, but after that they will have to be processed through at 1,500 DIG per 0.01 BTC rather than 2,000 DIG per 0.01 BTC. And any bonus Nuggets will be 10% rather than 20%.

Looking like last few days of the whole ICO now, as demand continues to surprise us. We are pleased though we haven't sold out in week one, as it means all those who knew about DigitalGold and wanted to buy at the cheapest price have been able to get the quantity they wanted. That's important for us.

Quieter day yesterday, roughly 4 million DIG sold, meaning jjust over 80% of the total Nugget supply has now been sold. 11 million still available - we're expecting a rush tomorrow leading up to the price increase in Nuggets at 1600 UTC. Please ensure you get your application in to us by the end of Friday to allow enough time for us to prepare your account and email you the payment invoice. We won't be able to offer anyone the currest lowest rate if we receive their payment after the cutoff time of 1600 on June 9th. PS Glad you all liked the ICO breakdown stats, it was interesting for us making it and it seems just as interesting for all the investors.

DIGITALGOLD ICO PURCHASE BREAKDOWN:


We said we'd give you a more detailed, but still broad, breakdown of the ways the ICO purchase patterns have been throughout the first week of DigitalGold Nugget availability. We hope this is helpful to both existing owners of SAFT documents and those considering jumping in and grabbing themselves some Nuggets for themselves before the ICO closes.



AVERAGE NUGGET PURCHASE QUANTITY: 140,000 Nuggets

Most buyers are buying more than the 10,000 floor that gets them the 20% bonus so the effective average nugget ownership is close to 170,000. It's a higher figure than we expected, although the main point of note is that like any arithmetic mean, the figure can be skewed either way by numbers a long way from the average. In our case, we have had a small number of very high purchases - we're talking four, five times higher than the average, and one or two more than that. If we stripped out the very highest and very lowest payments then the average would certainly be lower. But as a strict mean, the figure is what it is.




TOTAL NUGGET QUANTITY REMAINING BY DAY:

We expect a further 'last 24 hour' rush before our prices for the remaining Nuggets changes at 1600 UTC Saturday June 9th, especially with the rapidly decreasing amount available.




AVERAGE PROCESSING TIME FROM NUGGET APPLICATION TO PAYMENT INVOICE SENDING: 6 hours

Again, processing times were a lot higher than this earlier on, and are lower than that now - the mean affected by the crazy initial 24-48 hours of the ICO. Remember, this is not after you pay - this is the time after your send in your 'application' - the email stating how many Nuggets you wish to buy, until the time we compile and send a payment invoice to you.




AVERAGE TIME FROM BTC INVOICE PAYMENT TO SAFT ISSUANCE: 2 hours

This represents the time between when you send the BTC payment to your unique payment account address and the time that we prepare, check and email you the SAFT document and access codes for the Nuggets further down the line. We changed our processing system after a couple of days to lower this time at the expesne of a slightly higher Invoice creation time - the logic being that investors are going to be more impatient waiting to receive their actual SAFT document than for a payment invoice. It's worked well, has been popular, and investors can now expect speedy expedition of their payment and the corresponding sending of the SAFT to them.



NUGGET AVAILABILITY TIMEFRAME: Total allocation expected to be sold by 12th-14th June

We've had to constantly bring the estimated ICO Close date back sooner and sooner as the demand has generally exceeded our predictions and expectations, especially on the higher volume purchase side. Originally we expected the ICO to sell out by early in the third week, then towards the end of the second week. At one stage after Day Two, we even panicked that the sale could complete in Week One, which we felt would be a little too soon for those many investors who quite fairly want to watch from the sidelines and decide over time whether to invest or not - we've had a number of emails from such potential buyers. At least now things have stabilised it looks like we will go into Week Two with some Nuggets still available, and we expect all the largest purchases will have been made by Saturday, when the price of Nuggets increases. We could be caught out and surprised by the usual '24 hour rush' before an ICO price increase though, so please don't delay too long if you still want to invest or are thinking about putting more funds into Nuggets.

ICO Update Day Six

Nuggets Remaining: 15,000,000 out of 64,000,000


Good morning. We will post a more detailed breakdown of the ICO purchasing patterns to date later today, but firstly just want to update on the general position. We had quite a steady day yesterday in terms of applications and SAFT issuance, our slowest since the start of the ICO (as expected). However, and it's a big however, we received three very large applications throughout the day which has taken our Nuggets Remaining down a lot further than it otherwise would be. Naturally we won't give out the exact amounts that were purchased, but we can say that all three were for what we term 'multi-bitcoin' amounts ie over 2 BTC.  

This has left us with the figure of 15M Nuggets remaining with, in theory, over two weeks of the ICO to run. It should be fairly obvious now that we won't be running that long - sometime next week the ICO will be closed due to a sell-out of Nuggets. Unlike some dubious ICO's, we won't be able to magically re-open it for further rounds of investment, because our whole concept of DigitalGold is based around this low, fixed supply of coins. To even think about issuing more would be totally against the ethos of DigitalGold and by increasing the supply it would de-value all existing coins that ICO investors have put their faith in by buying. Don't worry - we won't be doing it. Once these last 15M are sold, that is the end of the ICO and DigitalGold Nuggets won't be seen again until we launch in Q3!

We expect today to be our quietest day in terms of applications, but are expecting a 'last day rush' in the hours leading up to the price increase of Nuggets at 1600 UTC Saturday.
